4th Gen Overused pokemon

Because of my location and age I never really was able to battle. Because of WiFi soon I will be battling other trainers I reckon.
I'm hearing allot about 'overused pokemon'. I don't have an idea about them myself because I didn't battle too much. But for example Skarmory and Alakazam appear to be some. I'd like to know more names of the top 50 most overused (actually just 'used' then) pokemon out there. So, start posting and keep adding names to the list starting with:

i was talking about competitive play..go on oyutube and watch the world finals..that ALL tehy used....then i said when playuing with restriccions...NO ubers....skarmory blissey and those others i mentioned are over used

That could just be the reason for it, looking cool...

But the number of OU Pokemon is so gonna increase and looking at the list Paranoia posted, that's already quite a lot.

Rapidash(though this may be because its the only non legendary fire type you can catch)
