What are some movies that you wished had gotten a sequel but didn't? Or a third part. Reboots don't count. What movies would you love to see expanded on?

    That's an unpopular response ma'am.

I was gonna say Friday the 13th...

I have no clue how they'd do a sequel, and it'd probably be bad... but Short Term 12 was absolutely amazing, so it'd be cool to see something of the same vein.

Safety Not Guaranteed was also kinda interesting, so I'd wonder what they could do with a sequel.

I'd also love to see a Hobbit Part 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_>

I would love to see any of these
    Labyrinth 2
    Hocus Pocus 2
Journey 3 (Seems like this has been coming forever)
Monsters Inc - a proper sequel to the first not a prequel
Wall-E 2 there must of been more than 1 ship what happened to the others
    Jumanji 2?
John Carter 2 - Even though the first was great it never made enough money :(

    District 9

They could have come back in three years and released a sequel. That would have been really neat, but no, they leave the story unfinished.

I've read that Neill Blomkamp wants to eventually make a sequel for it, but I want it now. I have this great theory about how the aliens were slaves, and I want to see how accurate it is.

Hm. I was actually thinking about this not long ago. I actually wish that Miyazaki had expanded some on his films. It seemed that after every film, he always left a bit of a cliffhanger. Like, it left you with a bunch of questions. Spirited Away could have had a good sequel to see if Haku really did return to Chihiro and what happened if/when he did, you know? I think that's the one I wish could have had more to it then what he gave us.

Ponyo also would have made a good sequel too. It would have been interesting to see how much Ponyo grows with Sosuke. Also, I think it would give us a lot more on how she sees the world. I always related to her because she struck me as havign a bit of autism (mind you, I don't normally like diagnosing characters). That's why it would have been really neat to see her view on the outside world she becomes a part of. As well as seeing how she grows with Sosuke and if they ever actually fall in love for real or not. I mean, they were both about four or five in the movie, so it wasn't real love... just puppy love.

Sadly though, there won't be anything from him anymore, considering he retired. :( I can't blame him for it or anything. I mean, he is getting to that age where he feels it's for the best.
