    Hello,

I have a partner who is willing to help me out with mapping. So I was wondering how we could start working at the same time on mapping using the same client. For example I'll start working on a town and he will work on another town and when everything is ready we put all together in our main project.
Hope you can help me out guys.

    Thanks

just tell him to send the map files in the Data folder to you(and rename them if necessary). also if he set the metadata or connected some maps already, tell him to send you the metadata.txt or connections.txt in the PBS folder

Maybe you could share a folder using something like Dropbox. I don't know if there would be problems due to simultaneous editing, though.

Some sort of version control like Mercurial could be your best choice. It's not doable to simultaneously edit the same map of course, but with Dropbox, you'd have issues where it'd revert from time to time depending on who was connected when the changes were made.

You could use join.me and give contol to him. Then you can bothh edit.
