Time to rev up Ye Olden Diamond:

    DG's Team
    •Vladimir, Gligar, Level 16

    Hasty Nature

    Sand-Attack, Harden, Knock-off
Notes: I got this guy in a trade with a friend, hence the underleveled-ness and his first-stage... ontop of that, I haven't touched Diamond in a few months.

    •Taunter, Haunter, Level 48*

    Timid Nature

Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse, Dream Eater, Hypnosis
Notes: As is tradition in every team I own, I must have Taunter the Haunter... and here is my Diamond version. This particular Taunter happens to be my one and only EV-trained Pokemon, with a high Sp.Attack and Speed. I'm pleased with the results, but I don't plan on doing this again since competitive wi-fi battles aren't my cup o' tea.

    Lolren, Alakazam, Level 48*

    Bashful Nature

    Psychic, Charge Beam, Disable, Recover
Notes: Named after a spoof of my real name and evolved via a trading fest with a friend of mine, Lolren is my first attempt at even using the Abra-line. If the attacks look a bit off... don't mind it, really.

    •Ceronnius, Rapidash, Level 48*

    Timid Nature
    Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Strength, Agility
Notes: What to say about Ceron...? Well, he's going to be a part of my final dream-team of Pokemon (which mostly stems from my IC-roleplay Pokemon team, durhur~). One day, I'd like him to learn Bounce, but I'm still not sure what attack should be replaced for that one.

    •Terrathus, Torterra, Level 48*

    Brave Nature
Wood Hammer, Synthesis, Earthquake, Stealth Rock

Notes: I LOVE YOU TERRATHUS! Really, I usually don't pick grass-types, but wow I've had fun with this tank of an earthmover. His name is some Latin-y mix of "earth" (terra) and... well, I don't remember where "thus" came from, honestly. Either way, Terra is my friggen tank and I love him and his moveset half to death-- you can thank Serebii.net for those four moves.

    •Chronepsis, Dialga, Level 49*
    ♂?♀?

    Serious Nature
Rock Smash, Cut, Dragon Claw, Roar of Time

Notes: Chronepsis is not going to be in the final dream-team, but on the other hand he is useful enough as a legendary (that and I looooove him oh yesh time dragon ftw!) He's named after the D&D dragon god of the same name.

*Signifies the Pokémon has been Pokérus'd; VLADIMIR, GET ON DA TRAIN, DUDE!

    Current team:

    Houndoom Lv100
    Milotic Lv100
    Salamence Lv97
    Ampharos Lv86
    Zangoose Lv85
    Leafeon Lv70

Checked the tier rating recently and went "lol". Most of my pokemon are in NU section. The only OU is Salamence >_>
Now if I want to start battling competitively I'll have to make a new team.

My current Party is something like this, level 2 Milotic (just evolved), level 3 Starly (Hey I need something to fly me about xD), level 100 Flareon, level 100 Torterra, level 1 Volt Tackle Pichu. that's not my battling team (can't even remember that), just the last team I had out on Pt.

My team were all pre-bred with egg moves during my 1st time playing platinum, then gave them to a friend while I started a new game, and then traded them back over and used them. I chose piplup as my starter, but I couldn't stand empoleon's part steel type.

    Typhlosion level 62
    flamethrower, sunny day, eruption, thunderpunch
    Feraligatr level 57
Dragon claw, crunch, surf, ice punch
    Scizor level 59
Swords dance, bullet punch, iron defense, x-scissor
    Honchkrow level 62
Psychic, drill peck, night slash, shadow ball
    Lucario level 59
Aura sphere, swords dance, earthquake, drain punch
    Electivire
    Ice punch, thunder, thunderbolt, thunderpunch

    @ Empty Streets
So? It's in a tier which other people have made. If you think it's good, then it is good. Use Pokemon you like! I think competitive battling has gotten silly, because Everyone now suddenly thinks "GASP! IT'S IN THE NU TIER! I CAN'T USE IT!" I don't care about tiers, myself. So say my Pokemon are rubbish, but if I'm enjoying playing with them, are they really that bad?

    Ambipom lvl 48
    Shaymin lvl 59
    Tropius lvl 55
    Ampharos lvl 100
    Empoleon lvl 100
    Staraptor lvl 57

    Training right now ^_^

    @Empty Streets: Goodpoint.That's why i EV'd a Dragonair, coz i wanted 2, like Lance, rather than 3 Dragonites.

Also, that's why i EV'd a Careful Manaphy, even though it's not a smogon set.I love my Manaphy too much

    @Empty Streets and Hospitaller:

They are tiers for a reason, it's because of how viable they are competitively. Of course, you can always play in the UU and NU tiers, as many competitive battlers (Including myself) do. You are always free to use them, but don't expect them to do very well if they are NU in OU (Although, there are exceptions, Nidoqueen makes a good Stall lead and Porygon2 is good for counter Heatran and Salamence by Tracing their abilities).

    ---------------------------------------------

On topic though, my current Platinum team:

    Cute Rade (Budew): 24
    Diego (Staravia): 23
    Mumble (Prinplup): 24
    Jaws (Gible): 22
    Slave (Geodude): 5

Yeah, just started over XD If you can't tell, I'm lampooning movie character names (Minus Slave and Cute Rade). Diego being Jafar's parrot in Aladin, Mumble being the main penguin in Happy Feet, and Jaws being...well Jaws in Jaws.

My current party in Platinum is:
    Infernape Lv96
    Staraptor Lv95
    Luxray Lv95
    Umbreon Lv95
    Floatzel Lv95
    Roserade Lv95

Playing through Platinum for the first time ever (cause I finally realized they have emulation for it now and no way am I wasting money on a DS):embarrass

    Using:
    Gastrodon-Level 30
    Bronzor- Level 28
    Luxio- Level 27
    Monferno-Level 28
    Gabite-Level 25
    Crobat-Level 30

It's been meh so far, we'll see how I fare up later on in the game though.

I'm on my first playthrough of Pokemon Pearl. Just caught Palkia. One or two of my Pokemon have some bad HM moves, but I'll just delete them later. I have:

    Loren the Empoleon
    Raphael the Staraptor
    Shoshana the Roserade
    Mimi the Mismagius
    Cathi the Chimecho
    Lucius the Lucario

I've never gone through with a Chimecho before. It's kind of fun. I also learned the awesomeness of Steel types this playthrough. It's great when attacks do absolutely nothing to you. Oh, wait? There's a Fighting type? Cathi has Psychic, Mimi has Psybeam (too lazy to buy another Psychic TM), and there's Raphael. Oh, wait? There's a Fire type? Loren has Surf. What about Ground types? Shoshana does the job.

    Seriously. Steel types rock.

As of right now, I have the following in my party:
    • Snorky (LANTURN) Lv. 60
    • Shredder (SCEPTILE) Lv.71
    • Dexter (AMBIPOM) Lv. 78
    • CHATOT Lv. 30
    • CELEBI Lv. 83
    • LINOONE Lv.94

I generally kick Pokemon off my team once they've reached Lv. 100 and never use them again unless I actually find use for them in battles. Chatot and Linoone are always in my team as my HM slaves.
