Well, thats true partially. President was made so that one person could get a title. The title could get the person recognized, and maybe bring a little more respect to the person.

Mods/S-Mods etc.. already have their titles.
I don't really mind having them run, but it still isn't exactly right for them to run, because if a Mod wins, then they took a title away from a normal member. A member that 'could have put it to more use'.

Having a Mod get the title won't help them get recognized as much as a normal member would...

A normal member maded into President will stand out.
A Mod made into President won't really stand out much more than it already does.

But, if a Mod wins, that is fine with me. That just means they are loved more by PC, so it doesn't really matter.
 
I don't mind if mods run either, but I just want it to be a fair race. I mean mods can edit polls and stuff so who knows what could go on. You never know what they do, but we can only hope that they arent that desprate to cheat to win.
 
Yeah, I think mods and smods should run, but oinly members could become presidents. If not it wouldn't be fair for all of us regular members.

mods do have alot more recognition so they may find it easier to win
+ they already have a title

i highly doubt that any mod would do something like that
and its ridiculous to say such a thing.......
 
I've made a pick! The two that get my vote for round one are Scotty and piro! Thats it for now.

I'm not trying to be bias or anything like it, but this should only be open to regular forum members.
 
But like I said, it is okay for them to run. This is also a competition to see who PC loves more.
It may not seem rightful for them to run, but they still have every right to.

And to Amphros23, I can assure you that the votes will not be tampered with. Every person part of the PC staff is a loyal, trustworthy person(especially Scott, I trusted him with my deepest most secrety secret ever.)
 
Well, Bush was in Florida on Friday, and I was able to be in the Miami Ice Arena and listen to him for 55 minutes. It was amazing!!! I learned alot.
Anyways, I trust everyone will make the right chooice and pick the best. And if a mod comes to win, then thats okay with me :D

Mods? Cheating? o.0 The reason they were made mods were because they wouldn't do stuff like that. (well, one of the reasons XD)

Thanks, Mr.Blue, for the vote. I really appreciate it. And I agree with the people who don't think Mods should be able to run. Ice Demon said that the President doesn't do anything but get the title and the name. Mods already have that. A mod will most likely win this thing so they just get another title plus there Mod title. Doesn't really seem fair to the normal members who are trying to get noticed. But whatever, I didn't create this thing, just voicing my opinion on the matter.
 
I don't see the point in Mods running but if they want to then they can. Hey all the members is going on about Mods running so what is the big deal? Tell me one good point in why they should not run. What more members knows about them? Before I was a Mod I was more well known then some Mods, go to OC and you will find members that is more known then Mods.

1. They can't edit votes in polls though
2. It will appear in the Moderator Log if they do

We all pretty much already posted our speeches when we entered...

Umm, and I don't think we are allowed to make any more 'Vote me' speeches because that's what everyone else is saying.

Thats because Scotty is, umm Scotty. He's allowed to do whatever he wants because one of his best friends is a Praetor. So ner :P

Anyways, if you want me to try to convince you to vote for me, click the button in my signature. That's basically all of the reasons why I should be President.
