PETA vs Cows vs Breastmilk.

The KFC chicken breasts are too big and now this. I'm seeing a pattern with PETA. XD

Nah, see, I understand their whole stand on the "KFC-cruelty" thing a while back. That made sense to me. This, however, is legitimately the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

...Human breast-milk, huh? And I wonder, what lactating human-being would be willing to donate gallons of their own breast milk to be forcibly drained in order to make ice cream? And even so, cows produce more milk than humans anyways.

That and the fact that eating ice cream made from human breast milk is just y'know...totally effing gross.

PETA just lost what dwindling respect I have ever had for them.

I rally hate what PETA is doing. This is starting to gross me out.

Cows are also much cheaper since they don't demand a salary, the cost of human milking would far outstretch the income (and volunteers would be too few in number);
cows' milk is more nutritious, especially in the areas of fat and calcium (any food will apparently give you some combination the things stated in that letter);
in this age of femenism, no woman is going to tolerate being treated like a factory.
The bottom line is that human milk tastes horrible (I've tasted it personally only a few years ago, so I'm not just saying that), so even if they do get it off the ground who will be willing to buy it in any bulk? That seems to be something PETA is forgetting.

Let's not forget that cows produce a lot more milk than humans. Oh, and that they don't have to have just had a baby to produce milk.

Must say I'm amazed at how many people are disgusted at the notion of drinking our own race's milk.
Imagine if we did that through history, then it'd be like "eww cow's milk".

Ya srsly.

Well, hardly anyone over the age of one drinks breastmilk for its food value.

Wut? I don't see anything better than Ice Cream, made fresh from good ole' Lady juice.

This is obviously a ploy for attention. Made of EPIC PHAIL.

can we use the left over whale for whale oil?
I suppose once the whales get old we can kill them and utilise their corpses for meat and oil.

I really do want to try whale meat though :(

Probably because it alludes to mothers and tit sucking, mostly the mothers part. I'm amazed that you're amazed, since most of us stopped breastfeeding years ago.

Since well, it should be kinda weird when you're no longer a baby, ya know?

nosrsly. I'm pretty much vegan, actually. So don't make fun of us. ;__;

ANYWAY

Guys, think about this. Personally, I don't believe they're ACTUALLY serious.
They're trying to make a point of how selfish humans are. The life of a cow is worth that of a human's. If we're not willing to drink breast milk, which grosses a lot of people out, WHY should we drink cow milk? It's practically the same thing. One just comes from a different animal.

What they're trying to prove is that humans shouldn't be drinking milk at all. PETA may go extreme on a lot of things, but I DO NOT think they're serious about this.

I, too, don't believe that humans should be drinking milk from any animal. Including humans. After we're over the age of like, 1, of course.

We're not calves either.

I'm not in favour of PETA's notion at all but speaking from an objective viewpoint it'd make more logical sense if we drunk our own milk, since it's ours, cows' milk is theirs.

Didn't I say that, like, three times already?

However, there is a huge difference between humans & cows. About a few dozen cernturies difference.The reason that cows lives aren't valued as much as humans is because we are on the top of the food chain. Yeah, I said it. We beat lions by a log shot. If they want that to change, they gotta start eating us. Like that one man eating cow story. I don't think that other animals value each other's lives, either. Maybe because they lax teh brane sellz, but that's how it is. We eat each other.

And there is a reason that cow's milk is more accepting than,say, rat's milk. I don't have all the details, but for one thing, it's healthier. It can be used i ways that other milk can't. Still, all around the world, milk is used from other animals, such as camels & buffalo (I thought all buffalo was male, like bulls). Blach Cherry flavored breastmilk doesn't have the same appeal. Besides, milk has been used since biblical times. no, I don't want a bunch of fags popping out of nowhere to say I'm worng for using he bible in an example, the smart will know that it is only an example to show how widely milk is accepted.

As Sarah Silverman said, "you think the guy who [discovered]milk was a genious?He just sucked at some cow's teets!". Or somethig like that, I got it wrong.

Still, this is all some pathetic ploy for attention, that makes me want a burger.

PETA really doesnt think about their statements,

They just try to put in as many facts defending animals in the least amount of text, hopeing someone will think it actually makes sense.

I really wanna know how the deal with those mothers work out?

do they have to watch them give milk?

why couldnt they just fill a jar with cow milk and call it their own?

Hmm.

Well, that's a matter of opinion. I personally don't think the life of a cow is worth anywhere near that of a human. And actually, milk from different animals has a very large difference in composition. Goat milk and cow milk taste very different. And so do, I'm sure, human milk and cow milk.

No, PETA only care about the animals, not people. I'm sure they wouldn't care if we became a race of cannibals just so long as the animals were safe.
