Pirates of the Whirl Islands PG-17

"Whoa, wait, wha-? Roni, the Pidgeot? That guy's got a bounty on his head! I saw a wanted poster in the bar in New Bark Port!" Kytes exclaimed.

He thought about the riches he might get, if he could take out the Pidgeot.

High hopes. That's all he had. He was too scared to ACTUALLY fight. He should just rather head below decks....

But then, Kytes had come for adventure. And this was adventure, and he would not back down. He looked at the state of Scorpio, and felt enraged.

That was it. He had made up his mind, he would go and defeat the Pidgeot, and get the bounty. That would be a good kick start for the ship. He knew that he was going to defy an order of the Captain, but, Kytes couldn't help it.

He jumped up, transforming into a Pidgeot in mid air, and yelled to the others, "I'm going to get the Pidgeot and get the bounty, if anybody wants to help me,feel free to."

Kytes looked back at the way they had come from, and flew away.
 
The wind buffeted Tonitrus' ears, and so he barely heard Kytes' shout. The Zoroark became a Pidgeot and took to the skies, and for a split second, Tonitrus felt envy. The freedom of the air was something he'd always wanted to have a hold on.
However, flying from the Revenge was probably not the best move. none of the crew knew how tough Toro was as Captain, and Kytes' impulsive move may change that.

Tonitrus turned to look at the Gliscor, and felt an uncharacteristic surge of affection. He hoped that this guy would be the last gunner, because making acquaintances wasn't a top priority to Tonitrus, and on this occasion the ice had already been broken.

Tonitrus' paws padded on the deck as he walked over to where the Gliscor was struggling to stand.

"You should get that wing bandaged up if ye want to fly before the turn of the moon." muttered Tonitrus when he found himself in front of the Pokemon.

"Tonitrus Nox, boatswain." He added, inclining his head slightly. "Ye got any talents of use, matey? Can you swab, or do ye man the guns?"
 
Kytes soared the sky savoring the moment of free flying. He knew it wouldn't be long when he encountered Roni and his buddies, and he knew there were only 2 possibilities-1. He would run away or 2.He would get beaten up like Scorpio.

He looked in the distance and saw a Pidgeot and about 3-4 Fearows in the sky. He flew towards them, and stopped right in front of them, and in his best voice, cried, "Roni the Pidgeot, so you the one that beatin' up Gliscors?"

Roni gave him a dirty look, but before he could say anything, He was attacked by an Aerial Ace by Kytes. The attack hit him directly in the wing, and Roni cried and collapsed in the water. Kytes looked at the Fearow, and yelled, "Let this be a warning to you, THIS, is what the crew of fearsome Captain Toro Blaze will do to Bandits, so you better keep your records clean!". The Fearow looked at each other, then at the fallen Pidgeot, and then fled.

"W-w-whoa, I...I did it!" He thought. He dived down, and picked up the unconcious Pidgeot, and flew back towards the Ship.

He arrived pretty quickly, since he was pretty excited, and dumped the Pidgeot on the deck.

"We better tie him up. He'll hand him over at Cherrygrove Port and collect our reward." He said.

He beamed at the crew, happy to have proven himself to the crew.
 
Scorpio was surprised that Kytes would go look for Roni, Scorpio thought about joining him, but now that he was taking orders from a Captain, there was no disobeying orders.
Then, the Luxray from before came and introduced himself as Tonitrus Nox. Scorpio introduced himself as well and then replied to Tonitrus's question. "I don't swab, I blow stuff up."
Scorpio stood up and nodded in respect to the Luxray, walking off. Suddenly, after about a quarter of an hour of wandering around the deck, a Pidgeot dropped another Pidgeot onto the deck. It was Kytes bringing back Roni. "We better tie him up." said Kytes.
"No, no, NO!" exclaimed Scorpio, he knew Roni better than his cronies know him. If there was one thing Roni was good at, it was playing dead.
"Everybody take cover!" shouted Scorpio. Just in time too, mostly everyone took cover except those who didn't have a chance to react. Roni got up and used Vacuum Cut! It hit Kytes hard, knocking him over. "So ye were that naughty Pidgeot attacking me." he said walking over to Kytes. "Now, prepare to die!" he said. Getting ready for a Sky Attack. "Oh no, a Sky attack will cause a hole in the ship to form, Kytes is gonna die and the ship may die with 'im!" thought Scorpio. He immediatly lashed out and used Poison Jab at Roni, knocking him over. "Argh! I've been poisoned! You-" but before Roni could finish, another Poision Jab hit him hard. "Aaah! Scooooor!" he exclaimed and used Sky Attack, luckily it missed the ship, but it sent both the Pidgeot and the Gliscor straight into the water.
 
"Dammit!" Kytes cried.

He got one chance to prove himself, and he screwed it up. He was gonna get killed for that. The Vacuum Cut hit him directly, and he was sent flying. He looked up to see Scorpio jabbing Roni with Poison Jab twice, but Roni slamming him with Sky Attack. Both Gliscor and Pidgeot fell over into the water.

Kytes got back on his feet, and diving into the water, transformed into Eelektross. He slammed into the water, but if Zoroarks are known for one thing, its Speed. He swiftly swam over to Roni, wrapped himself around him, and yelled, "Scorpio, outta the water!", before letting loose a Wild Charge at Roni.
 
If there was one thing that Scorpio hated more than Roni, it was water. Now he had been thrusted y a Sky Attack, into the sea. The salt entered his mouth and tasted terrible. But before he could even think up a complaint, The Pidgeot attacked him again. Making his stomch churn. Then, an Elektross appeared. This Elektross seemed to know his name...oh! It was Kytes. Scorpio was quick to obey and got out of the water, the Wild Charge electrocuted him a little, but he got out in time. The ship was rocking and a certain part of the water was full of electricity, Scorpio wondered how they were doing. Then, he realized he was gliding and that it was hurting, a lot. He quickly landed back on board. And watched from the ledges. The water calmed. "Well, what a commotion for me first day as a pirate." thought Scorpio. He hoped he would not be too much trouble for his crew, what with various gangsters after his tail.
Electricity was effective against Flying, so Scorpio expected Roni to be dead. What with the damage being quadrupled due to Roni being wet at the time. But still, nothing happened. And it was as if the water had not seen any comotion. He wondered if they both drowned, but Kytes couldn't have, he was transformed into an Elektross....unless.... the intensity from the Wild Charge turned him back to normal and they both drowned. The Gliscor tried to think more positive though, trying not to show his worry and embarrasement.
 
Whew. Scorpio heard his cry. He was outta the water.

The Wild Charge hit Roni pretty hard. Electricity could damage a flying type hard, and added were several parameters, like Roni being wet,and in the water itself. Kytes doubted that Roni would survive.

Kytes knew that with such a strong attack came disastrous recoil. He pulled up Roni, once out of the water, he transformed into Pidgeot and pulled Roni back onto deck. It was then that the recoil set in. Kytes collapsed on his knees, now back in Zoroark form, but before fainting, he wanted to prevent a mistake which had earlier put his entire crew at risk. He attacked Roni with a final Night Slash before losing consciousness.
 
(Sigh. Just wasn't quick enough this time. Shall delete my last post.)

The Pidgeot was on the deck once more, and this time it looked well and truly dead. To make sure, Tonitrus dropped a bolt of lightning on it before turning to Kytes, who was passed out next to it.

"Ye should have left it to me," Tonitrus said quietly. "My Thunder would've taken 'im out without any of this here chaos..."

Tonitrus slung the Zoroark over his muscular shoulders and took him to the Quarters.
"Scorpio, come rest. You've strained your wing further."

Tonitrus frowned a little as he put the unconscious Kytes on an empty bed. "Thar you go, matey. I commend your bravery. Both of ye."
 
Toro watched as a brawl had broken out between some of the crew and Roni the rogue Pidgeot. The crew seemed to be losing the battle and Toro watched as Kytes was knocked unconscious. Roni fell to unconsciousness right after. Toro watched as Tontitrus swung Kytes over his shoulders and led Scorpio to his quarters.

"To the brig with this one. William, take the wheel," Toro claimed as he pulled the Pidgeot up from his neck and carried him to the brig.

Toro threw the bird into the cell and began to talk to his motionless body.

"You should know better than to mess with my crew Roni. I've fought you before and defeated you. I'm glad I didn't have to do it again," Toro told the Pokemon.

"Toro Blaze, you finally became a captain," Roni awoke from his state.

"Don't small talk with me Roni. We will be in Cherrygrove in a few minutes where we will dump you into a jail and collect our reward," Toro explained to the bird.

"Please Toro, I cannot go back to jail," Roni begged.

"You'll never learn," Toro chuckled as he walked back to the ships deck.
 
William saw Kytes take off to fight the Pidgeot. He shook his head and continued pacing up the ship. He occasionally took out his magnifying glass to see where they were going. Soon, Kytes came back, with Roni in check, but all hell broke loose when the Pidgeot came to and attack the Scorpio and the others. The managed to subdue them, but in the process went unconscious. Tonitrus carried the Zoroark away. William once again shook his head. This crew was tough, yes, but it seemed to prone to fighting. William was in the piracy business more for coin than for blood. He hoped this wouldn't be an ongoing habit.

"To the brig with this one. William, take the wheel," William nodded and proceeded to the wheel of the ship.

"Aye, Cap'n." He said, and he grabbed the wheel and began steering.

They made their way towards Cherrygrove Port. William began to sing an old pirate song.

Scorpio followed Tonitrus to the cabin. Feeling his wing, it hurt agonizingly. Tonitrus was right, he had to rest.
"Thank ye, i try my best. But I feel bad about leading that 'ol Pidgeot here. Is there anything i can do to make it up to me crew?" he asked as he went to sit down. Feeling his broken wing once more, he could make out that it hurt less when he relaxed his muscles. But it still hurt intently.
After a couple hours, the Gliscor went outside to stretch his muscles. He tried to ignore the terrible pain. In the distance, Scorpio could make out land, it was CherryGrove port, no doubt. He had once gone there to hunt down a criminal when he was a bounty hunter, the place was bustling with Pokemon everywhere. Markets strewn all over the place like seeds. If Scorpio had been a land Pokemon, he would've never found his target in the sea of Pokemon. He thought about all the ventures he'd had, gliding around Johto catching baddies. It made him feel like a hero when he really only did it to gain enough money to pay of his debts. He had caught many criminals before, some of the most renowned ones were Filo the Nidoking, Imposter the Ditto and Keezer the Bisharp. Who were all renowned gangsters. The thought shook out of his mind as they approached Cherrygrove Port. He could already make out various lakes of Pokemon bustling. Some almost falling into the water. He chuckled at the thought of a lady falling in. Then he realized that the pain was, although still agonzing, calming down. His tail didn't feel so heavy anymore either, and he lifted it up. Scorpio was also worried about Kytes, that young 'un risked his life for Scorpio, and Scorpio was not going to let it go lightly. With stomping feet he approached the brig where Roni was kept. He opened the creaky door to find the captain speaking to him. He approched the captain and said "Cap'n, with your permission, may I beat this wrongdoer to Davy Bones's locker?"

LOL, Davy Bones. The Pokemon equivilent of Davy Jones. He's a Marowak.

If Blaziken15 isn't back by July 1st, I'll take charge of the RP and his character.
 
Genghis stared at the defeated Roni. First, the barbarian looked with curiousity, his emotion then changed to joy for the idea of humiliating the Pokemon like how he did back at his home region.

The barbaric Minun decided to torture the pidgeot with the blunt tip of his spear. He poked him lightly and sniggered mildy to taunt the beaten pokemon. He thought that the greatest thing about joining a crew was that he can still annoy his enemies.

Genghis then uncovered a sack made out of numel hides from his bag. He then opened the sack and revealed some meat and a peacha berry. The Minun became a huge fan of peacha berries since he arrived at Johto as berries were rare in his region and berries were imported from other regions if spotted. He skewered the meats on his spear and sat in front of Roni. Genghis started eating like an uncivilised pokemon in front of the pidgeot by tearing the meat away from the spear and exaggerated his reaction to the taste to fill his enemy's eyes with jealousy. All for the sake to humilliate his foe.
 
As he waited for a reply from the captain, Scorpio noticed a Minun enter the room, and go into the cell. Toro then left the room, not replying to Scorpio's question. So, Scorpio decided to go in anyway. When he did, he found the Minun chewing vigourously at a piece of meat that was uncovered from a sack. "Uh, what are ye doin'?" Scorpio asked the Minun. The Minun did not reply for his mouth was full. Scorpio then turned to Roni and said "Well, looks like the tides have turned, Roni, i honestly don't know why I didn't turn you in at first."
"Hehaha, you seem to have forgotten your own fear." said Roni. "Before, I would have hunted ye down and killed yer. If ye turned me in." he added. "Hmm, i was a coward back then." replied Scorpio.
Scorpio investigated the Pidgeot, he felt sorry for the bird on sight of him, his wing looked broken and he was burned all over. Plus he was still wet. "Hmmhehe, look at the state of ya, I feel sorry for the once, great, Roni" Scorpio teased. The eyes of the Pidgeot before him turned a blodd red and he was faced with anger. Fortunatly he couldn't do anything. If he moved a muscle it hurt intensly.
"Minun, what are ye doin? Really. Eating meat in front of this ol' dastard isn't going to change a thing."
 
Ok, that's it. This RP has too much promise to be let down like this. I'm taking charge. From now on, I play as Scorpio AND Captain Toro. I will notify everyone in the RP to come and join again.

In all honesty, I find pirates a little difficult to RP. Really sorry Xilfer, I'm out :(

Hope we can RP together soon though!
