PMD: Exploration and Corruption of the New Frontier (IC)(PG-13)

"Hmmhmm, Well, I think I'll battle the hyperactive one if thats alright with all of you." Leigh said giving a confident look to Alaska. "Not only do I want to let off some steam for being treated like jello" He turned to Alaska, "But I want to practice in a situation of disadvantage" He continued, knowing that Alaska was a dark type. "Practice DOES make perfect after all".

Leigh glared at Alaska. "Alaska was it? Lets keep our distance from the came. Don't want to ruin all the hard work after all."

Zeke walked over to Specter disgruntaled. Specter stared Zeke down. the two stood glaring at each other for a solid two minutes. Specter raised his scythe. Zeke brought his up to meet it.

Specter swung in a wide horizontal arc. Zeke held his up vertically. the scythes clanged like they were metal. The two went back and forth slicing at each other and blocking just in time. Zeke slapped Specter with the side of his blade.

"get it through your thick skull! I am in charge, especially of you. Now you listen or disappear." Zeke roared.

Specter dissapeared like dry sand in the wind. Specter drifted into a section of Zekes subconcious. For some reason Zeke was still thinking of that butterfree from earlier. Specter began chasing after the butterfree thought. (like inception. its a projection of the butterfree)

"finally i can speak again. only reason i let myself come back." Specter said running faster.

Alaska gave him a firm nod. This battle would be a good start to being on an exploration team. The opponents would most likely be very tough. Janice came to Alaska's mind. "Always be confident in yourself, and don't give up!" The now deceased Blissey had once told Alaska when she was very young. I'll take your advice, Janice. Alaska's eyes blinked rapidly and she looked at Leigh. "Let's get started, shall we?" she asked with a smirk.

Leigh was all prepered for the battle. Unfortunately, His main attack, Psycho shock wouldn't hurt too much if he started out with that due to typing. He decided to start off with a more defensive approach. "Way ahead of you..." Leigh said as he positioned himself. Leigh had a good feeling his foe would be faster then him by a longshot.

Keeping silent, Leigh set up "Reflect" around his green gel as he taunted Alaska to make the first attack.

"I'll battle just for the practice, but I'm not all that good." Xell said, glad that the green blob and his new teammate were getting along so well. Xell watched the two to see what they would do next. Now was a great time to assess both of their skills. Alaska was certainly a live-wire, but could she put that energy to a battle? And that green blob... much smarter then an impression would give off. Xell was amused with the Sneasel's bravado.

"Let's get started, shall we?" she asked with a smirk. Xell's attention was focused on the two, and the green blob set up his first move: Reflect.

He used reflect... physical moves won't do as good, thought Alaska. She ran toward him at a quick speed to make him believe she was going to attack, but instead she used agility. She moved around swiftly in front of him. Alaska appeared almost as a mirage because of how quickly she moved.

"Just as I thought. Quick as the wind..." Leigh thought to himself. "I'm in no rush." Leigh said to her as he kept a Calm mind about it (using the move of course). "Hyperactive pokemon tend to get tired quickly... For now I'll just sit like a rock, and as sturdy as one." He again thought to himself. Leigh continued watching Alaska speed around him...

Alaska stopped suddenly and shot a Shadow Ball at Leigh. That probably won't do much. My special attack is definitely not something I can boast about.

Felicia watched as any excited five year old would as Alaska and Leigh started their battle before turning to Flare. "Hey Flare wanna battle me" she said eyes twinkling with excitement that she hadn't felt in two years for once she was letting her young age show and was enjoying herself around Pokemon who didn't judge her.

A little grin as his new partner just asked him to battle him. "Sure!" he said with an excited nod of his head. "I'll battle you! But I warn you, I'm...' The smile faltered for a moment. "I'm not very good, but I'll give it my all!"

"Erk!" Leigh felt the blast hit him directly. Didn't hurt to badly but it was time to stop slacking for the time being. Leigh floated down to the ground and began rolling at an intense rate. The squishy green gel surrounding him become rock solid as he performed Rollout. Leigh began to roll straight after Alaska. "start running..." He said to Alaska sinisterly.

Felicia smiled "I'll give it my all too, but lets just make sure we have fun thats the important thing" she said happily as they moved a little ways away from the camp so as not to harm it. "You can make the first move"

"Afterwards, let them finish the battle. I'll fight you in a moment." Xell was evaluating their every move closely, missing no details. The psychic blob's fighting style was remarkably similar to his: he always liked to prepare before making powerful attacks. The green blob was executing this perspective perfectly, taking the time he needed to withstand the powerful attacks and retaliate.

Alaska, on the other hand, was fast, vicious, aggressive. That made two in Team Hunter who were crazy fast. It seemed he would be the slow one. He, however, had a trick that would hopefully surprise them. It was one inherited from his father, and a clever one at that. He was slightly eager to show it off, but he refocused his attention on Alaska. She faked out the Yuniran, going for an Agility instead of an anticipated attack. It was brilliant and smart. Despite her hasty introduction and her almost reckless actions, she was a powerful asset to the team.

Flare grinned a little bit more, but his inner doubt made him gulp heavily. So, jumping back a little bit and fastening his glare on her, he grit his teeth. FInally, he leapt into the air and curled up in a tight ball, emulating a Rollout attack. Striking the ground, he shot towards her like an out of control wheel.

"Start running..." said Leigh as he started to perform Rollout. Normally, Alaska would've done the opposite just for the sake of not listening, but she took his advice and ran. If I turn to try and use an attack, he'll get me! She ran at top speed, but the solid green rock smashed into her. "Ahh!" she yelled as the force threw her to the ground. Despite being dark type, the only dark move she knew was Taunt. That would be pointless to use right now. She nimbly sprinted to Leigh and punched him with an icy fist.

Leigh managed to catch up to the speedy sneasel and completely roll over him. "Hmmhmmhmm... Not so jello-like now am I?" He said with a taunting expression. As he finished his move, Alaska immediately dashed towards him with a freezing fist. Leigh barely rolled out of the way and set up a Light screen. "Try not to miss this time. hmm?" He said glaring at Alaska.

Alaska's feet skid across the ground, clouds of dust floating up. "Try not to miss this time. hmm?" said Leigh with a glare. Alaska stared at him as he set up a Light Screen. He dodged my attack... Not many Pokémon can do that, thought Alaska, impressed with the green jello's skill. She followed suit with his stat raising moves, and used Swords Dance. Her claws extended and glowed purple.
