They should set up certain surprise dates in the game where certain events happen...

For example...
On August 15,2009 some renegade team galactic members will show up at the pokemart and battle you.After you beat them,the nurse behind the counter will give a pokemon egg.

i dunno about dates but a few random stuff kinda like that wouldn't be bad

I actually find this idea really awesome and possible. Similar to the Diamond Dust surprise on Junichi Masuda's birthday. But i'm sure there would people who would simply adjust the date on the DS instead of waiting. Still, neat idea.
 
More of those timed events actually would be really cool! If you don't announce them till when they're about to happen, I guess it wouldn't be too much of a problem of people changing the dates. I expected something bigger than the Diamond Snow, but it was a pretty cool event.

Do we have a Gold/Silver Remake Speculation thread? Alot of that keeps popping up here and I would like to talk about it, but it goes off topic.

Ima go search for that now.

ADD: There is a kinda one, and a remake of a remake discussion thread. xD
Maybe a stickied one should be made so it can all be dumped in one place? Just a suggestion. :o

Perhaps rather than an actual date, which could be screwed with really easily by changing the clock, they'd make it so that certain events like that would occur after a certain play time was reached...

Then people would just leave their DS's on all night hooked up to a charger.
I like the idea of everyone seeing the same event with no requirements for it.
It gives people a reason to play, and you could always say "While we're on, lets trade/battle/talk." or something. <3
 
Yeah, I suppose so... but then their parents would freak for the electrical bill. Maybe you'd have to do something elaborate, like the thing you have to do with Spiritomb, after that play time was reached...
 
That Pokemart thing should be a WiFi thing that downloads without you knowing it! And maybe you need to catch or KO giratina because it attacks cyrus, like entei in ranger
 
wait if your saying make the giratina event which is part of the storyline to be wifi then that is the most absurd thing.
 
Hmm ive been putting 2 and 2 together lately. The battle frontier it takes up all the fight area only or the fight and survival? I mean the clouds block both so if its that big and takes up both areas then why does it seem so scrounched. And if it that means that youll mostly be goin up stairs for 5 minutes.
