PokéCommunity UHC
A User-Hosted Minecraft Event
Welcome to the PokéCommunity Ultra-Hardcore Event!
The PokéCommunity UHC is a game that involves up to four teams of players, who each fight to be the last team standing in an arena which slowly decreases in size. Health doesn't regenerate, and mobs deal the most damage possible, providing extra obstacles to your survival. Of course to compliment this, there are a few extra rules to ensure the game doesn't become extremely slow paced. Whether you are a player who likes to build, or a player who likes to fight, UHC is its own unique experience and a great way to take a break from regular Minecraft and enjoy something a little more fast-paced. The aim of this event is to be a regular event with small unique changes each time to make the game new and different each time we play.
For those new to UHC, this is how the game works:
Players are split between up to four teams, and then spread around the world in their teams. The world size is 2000x2000 blocks, and over the course of the game this will decrease in size to 200x200 blocks, centered around 0,0 (x,z). The difficulty is locked to hardest, and you and your team must strive to be the last team standing. This isn't just a simple brawl, you must also survive against the mobs and other natural dangers, all of which deal the most damage possible. At the end of the game, the remaining players will be trapped in the 200x200 arena and will fight to the death. For this version of the UHC there are a few rules and details that some other UHC servers don't implement. These are:
- The border will decrease in size over two hours.
- Regeneration is only allowed via the use of Golden or Enchanted Apples.
- Instant Health, Regeneration and Strength II potions are not allowed.
- Strip Mining is also not allowed. (This is where you mine in one direction only)
To join the game, I will need to add you to the whitelist the server uses. You will also need some form of voice chat in order to communicate with your team throughout the game and to make setting up really easy and fluid. Without this, your game experience will be decreased a fair amount. Which voice chat service we use is still down to determination. To sign up for now, please put your Minecraft in-game name in your post so I may add you to the white list.
Other than that, that's all from me! The server IP is:
78.52.249.194
on port 25565
