    Pokémon Anime Streams!
    [needs a creative title imo]

    This event is more of a social event rather than a challenge. Aquacorde, Necrum, and I will all be streaming episode arcs from all series of the Pokémon anime. In the actual thread, you will see the times and days of when we will be streaming. The streaming room can be found here: https://www.livestream.com/pcpokeani. The website doesn't require an account and is free to use. The rules are simple: be nice to others and try to keep the chat relevant to the episodes.

    To Aquacorde and Necrum:
    -Do you two have any idea what your schedules will be during the GT?
    -Is there a time of the day when you're almost always available? If so, when?
    -Are we doing the series reservation thing that we talked about when we watched the Genesect movie a few months ago?
    -Or are we streaming whatever we want?
    -@Aquacorde We're only limited to 50 viewers unless we verify our channel. If it's free to do, you should definitely do that because you're the only one with permission to do it.

    To other event planners:
    -What arcs do you want to watch?
    -Do you have any thoughts and/or suggestions for this event?
    -Should we use the emblems from last year since they are still relevant?
    -Am I missing/forgetting anything?

    Schedule: completely open apparently bc mom pushed back our moving date to August 4th.
    Time of day: I could take like 10am-1pm or something.
    Series: I say if someone wants to broadcast a specific arc or eps they can claim em and we all just kinda fill in whatever else.
    Verification: I doubt we'll get upwards of 50 tbh. The problem with verification is that it seems like LS needs us to have a backlog of broadcasts to have playing when our channel is offline??? and we're already pretty iffy on legality lol I don't want to be putting streams out to be permanently accessable; that's why I always delete our past broadcasts. And we like have to apply for verification?? it's a really weird process. if our viewer count starts to regularly get up there we can always jump over to twitch i guess or something but i dont think it will be a prob

    Emblems: p sure we have to rework descriptions slightly but def use those i dont believe in making new emblems. i'd like to make the minimum show-up req be 2 or 3 streams and up the other one accordingly

    Questions for u: did we ever sort out if we've got movies or not? and should we schedule shorter streams in general and have a few throughout the day or just do however long the arc will take?
     
    Ok, good thing you're available that week haha. 10AM-1PM Central? I can't have a consistent time but they will all be after I'm done working, pretty much any time after 11PM Eastern. I shouldn't have to get up early for anything since I work in the afternoon (unless I have to open a day or two), so I'll most likely stream at times between 12AM - 5AM Eastern. Any time will work on Sunday and Monday. I hope Necrum can stream between our times- it would be good to have streams available for members of every time zone.

    I was thinking that it would be cool to stream them chronologically. That's what you did last year, right? Here are some arcs that I think would be fun to watch: Sabrina and Lavender Town, Whirl Islands, Misty and the Mirage Kingdom, Team Aqua/Magma finale, May's Sinnoh eps, Looker's Sinnoh eps, Sinnoh Grand Festival, Dawn's Unova eps, Looker's Unova eps, a Clubsplosion arc (or we could split dawn's unova arc in half, and the second half would be the World Tournament), Viola's episodes, and Origins. There are a lot of others but these would be my picks. What do you suggest? We could focus one series for each day, and then the last two days can be Origins and whatever we have leftover.

    Uh, I didn't know verification was like that. I though it was like an email confirmation thing haha, where you just had to prove that you gave them the right information.

    It's possible to change the description of an emblem without uploading a new one? Don't judge lol, I'm still new to this.

    I talked to Olli and he plans on streaming movies :D

    I think it would be best to keep streams short. The only problem is that they are easy to miss when they are less than an hour. Like Misty's Hoenn arc is only two eps long, which = 40 mins. But I think Team Aqua/Magma's finale is also two eps, so we could stream both in one sitting, which = 80 mins, perfect amount of time imo. I personally don't want to keep them longer than four eps. I think three streams minimum a day lasting 40 mins each is good, but five should be the max imo.

    okay so let's break this down. we're looking for maybe 4-8 eps per stream, yeah? let's say each line is a stream and each break indicates a day. more things could be filled in and stuff but i do want the don battles & meowth arc in there and the meloetta arc to have a day to itself. i think three streams a day might be pushing it; maybe two would be better to schedule around the other timed events

    Sabrina and Lavender Town: 3 eps (let's put more in this one)
    Whirl Islands: 8 eps

    Misty and the Mirage Kingdom: 4 eps (flying Bagon and Winstrates as well)

    Since I've chosen most of the eps lol, I'll let someone else decide what the remaining OS eps will be. Would we split the eight Whirl Islands eps into two streams of four? You could stream Sabrina and the other episode or two in the morning, Necrum could maybe stream the first half of Whirl Islands later, and I could stream the second half much later.

    We could add the two eps after The Scuffle of Legends. That would include Ash's Gym battle in Mossdeep. But the episode after those has Elite Four Drake, which is really cool haha.

    Will we stream only dub or will we throw in some sub? Or will I stream dub, you stream sub, and Necrum could mix both?
     
    I'd say priority on dub tbh. It really has a wider audience. If I feel like doing a bonus stream it'll probably be like, the Korrina arc in subs.

    Did Necrum want OS or Sinnoh idr? If he's taking the former I'll take AG and the latter to expand on and vice versa. and we should probably get some talk about his schedule in here because depending on that we may want to drop down to two streams for certain days?
     
    I think he wanted OS but I'm not completely sure. I'm completely fine with BW and XY. But I think it would be best to not do the series reservation thing unless we don't stream the episodes chronologically. There's no way I'll be able to stream a BW arc in the morning and still be available to stream another round later that day because of work. Same thing applies to XY. If we go in reverse chronological order, then I could stream all arcs of BW and XY because I don't work Sundays and Mondays.

    I think we already have plenty of eps. I think it would be better for us to substitute arcs of the series that we wanted rather than add to them. I guess an episode or two added per day wouldn't be overkill, though.
     
    Yeah, that sounds good. But no on the repeat streams, at least for me. You two can do what you want as long as we stream all of the main eps that we plan. I suppose it would be good to have a couple of backups arcs for each day, though. Just in case people want more haha
     
    That's fine with me. I was just listing the arcs that I wanted to see. I'll leave the remaining eps to be decided by you, Necrum, and any other event planners who pop in on this thread because I've already listed enough haha.
     
    Sorry, Internet has been an issue lately. I should have it running by the time GT happens, but this week has been hard to get online because a bunch of stuff happened at the end of the school year. I believe I wanted to stream the entire Orange League. I thought Anna wrote down our episode list before haha. I think I had wanted to show Gym battles in Kanto also but idr.

    For a better title, how about Pokemon Anime Extravaganza?

    I will be available the entire week, and can easily handle the afternoon time to fill in the time for maximum streaming times.

    Orange League is good. It's not too long and everybody loves it. I don't know about streaming all Kanto Gym battles, though. I guess we could split it in half and include the Sabrina arc in it.

    The name is good, although I would like it to contain the word "stream." Like "Exstream Pokémon Anime" or something haha. But we will stick to your title right now.

    Ok that's perfect. Anna will stream west morning/central noon/east evening, you'll stream west noon/central evening/east morning, and I'll stream west evening/central morning/east noon.

    That's basically what he was saying. Noon around us time and the other things he said are basically other parts of the world time. Mine is evening us time, and wobbus is late night us time. Which together should allow for a wide group of people to show up to at least some streams.
     
    im so confused can we just make a proper approximate schedule in central time or something cause that's pc time

    also emblems: wobbu can you screenshot the ones from last year in the emblem archive for me cause we need to re-describe them/figure out what makes sense for what we're doing
