I think their was a considerable amount of change between the 2 betas, so I am thinking that it was meant to be started at the beginning for beta 2.5 but I could be wrong.

The Brock bug is fixed. I messed around with the "pajama bug" but I don't know if it's fixed. Every time I tried it, I'd say about 95% of the time it worked, and 5% of the time it went black. I hope that now it will work 100% of the time. But let me know if it's still causing trouble.

Okay, I'm almost positive I found the fix. The problem was with the header. I was able to recreate the glitch by playing it on the Mac side of my computer instead of the Windows side. The header is fixed, here's the new link:

This should work. Playing it on my Mac, the game froze every time I put on the pajamas. But with the header fixed, it worked without any problems.

The game didn't freeze when I got the pajamas. By the way I can't understand how to go through the entrance of the gym. I read the gym statues and I still don't get it.

Thank you for helping me. :) I beat Koga right now and he was difficult to beat. His Venomoth made my Pokemon fall asleep which made it difficult but I still won. I'll head on to Laramie Ranch now to race.
 
if i may make a suggestion, you should add brock and misty in certain events, like for instance they appear before you enter a new town, why you may ask? cause they are pretty important to the anime, but if it's to tiresome or you dont wanna do it, i understand, its just a suggestion
 
I'm nearly done with Beta 2.5. Tomorrow I'll continue from Grandpa Canyon. I haven't found any glitches playing, however finding Exeggutor in the forest is hard. I did manage to get one for Melvin though.

I understand the desire for Brock and Misty. But to have them always running ahead would be, imo, weird and would slow down the game. Or to have them just randomly appearing in town wouldn't work either. I just don't think there's a good way to implement it.

Good to hear that haven't been any more issues. Exegguctor are tought to find in the forest, but not too tough, and that's partly why I provided a Leaf Stone there, as sort of a lazy way out of it. Thanks for playing and testing the game! :)

EDIT: BTW, I could really use some new screenshots. I totally forgot to take any while I was beta testing. Anyone who plays the game, please feel free to take a screenshot of some event(s) from the anime that stands out and PM it to me. I'd really appreciate it. I'll even give you credit in the screenshots section. Thanks! :)

Hey Metapod it's been awhile... Just downloaded the new beta. I'll make a play through then start up the guide once more :) . Oh and I don't think you should have Brock and Misty. It would be creepy, would take a lot of scripting, and would take away from the freedom of the game. So doing good so far, Metapod. Keep it up :)
 
Metapod how abaut this bug?
In the start then you create's your name then you need to create rival's name. And then you click "New Name" and whrite any name/or not you click ok and then rival's head is red.

EDIT: then i wanted to to take my potion from my PC ok i took it, but then i off the computer the "Talk box" still show's :\

EDIT2: then i must battle misty i dont have any pokemon in my PC so i try's to leave pc but misty wont let me do that. i cant fight her..

So I just downloaded 2.5 onto my original game file which had completed 2.1.. For some reason, if I make any actions, such as using the start menu, entering a building, etc, the player sprite (Ash) turns into a random woman character.

The character has no leg motion, and at times will turn the opposite direction while walking the other. (I'll be walking right, while she'll be looking left). But the walking part quickly corrects itself.

Still, turning into a different sprite, I'm assuming it's supposed to be like that.

Also, it is impossible to run while being in the women sprite. So far I have found nothing in gameplay which reverses the effect.

Just some glitches/bugs I believe I found within a few minutes of gameplay.

EDIT: In Neon Town, some characters are given Level 100 Pokemon. Well, one of them for sure. She had a level 100 Pidgey. Which dominated my pokemon -_-.
Regardless, the Ash sprite does not show up to throw the pokeball, and if you lose the battle, the game freezes at a black screen, forcing a restart of the program. Upon further playing, only as the Ash sprite are you unable to enter the Neon Town Casino. All trainers in the area have various Level 100 pokemon.

EDIT 2: While walking past the People Hospital, the player has an explanation mark appear over it's head and is moved down south and then moved right. The player is unable to move or access anything, forcing a restart.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen if you do this over an already existing file, but these are things I've noticed.

EDIT 3: After restarting the game, the woman sprite mentioned earlier is Delia's (Ash's mom's) sprite.

Tha pajama glitch is fixed

I noticed that after you use the computer the message that asks you what to do still shows.

I liked it when the Beedrill attacks a metapod can protect you, but in that case there should be an event for catching a Caterpie and for his evolution to Metapod.

Finding The Squirtle Squad

Ive searched High and Low where are they? I skipped the nugget bridge is this effecting my ability to find them??
 
hah man i had the same problem. it took me about an hour to figure it out. i didnt face anyone except aj where the nugget bridge should be, u have to get the fishing rod in the cabin in frnt of the little fishing spot then what i did was jus used the old rod in the pond, sorta towards the middle (dont know if that matters). but u should cath the squirtle squad leader. hope it helps..
