Yeah, but promos kind of cross the line.
 
Not really. I'd die for a rare promo card sometime back when I'd collect my cards. ^.~ Seriously, those things are lets say .. attractively appetizingly .. collectible.
 
Exactly.If i could take one popular game series, it would have some kind of record of being milked of dignity.
 
Well lets take the Mario series for example.It used to have many platformers, now it becoming so popular that sports games are poping in every corner, heck other people are using Mario in other games as something.
 
Mario is Nintendo exclusive, you'll see him on Nintendo consoles only. He's like Zelda. As for "other people are using Mario in other games as something", Super Smash Brothers / Meelee stars a LOT of Ninendo's own characters. Its Nintendo exclusive or something as well..

Mario hasn't been stolen into anything yet. And neither has Pokemon. You won't see a Pokemon game on the PS2 or XBOX.
 
Of course on Nintendo consoles, but It seems a little cameo is in every Nintendo game.
 
That is true, you know how they Released Soul Calibur for the PS2 and GNC? They made the gamecube version have Link, making the PS2 game get PWN'D by the GNC XP

Man I can't wait for the Rev and see mario in Super mario 128 and the new Super Smash Bros.
 
gotten Sapphire and Fire Red during 2005, and it sapphire sucks, so i sold it, and kept Fire Red! my favorite!
 
Sapphire is better than FR/LG, IMHO. x: I like the graphics on the latter better, but FR/LG really does get boring.
 
Emerald > FR/LG/R/S
I love the Special games, Yellow, Crystal and Emerald - just because of the change into the storyline, its and bits of changes that make the game way more enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed Crystal and its whole "chase after Suicune" thing. Ooh, and the Legendary Pokemon battle theme ..

I've never played Emerald. xD; I wanted it, but it was that or Animal Crossing: Wild World, and it's AC any day for me. :3

Well if you've played Ruby or Sapphire - there's not much that you missed from Emerald. 'Cept the Frontier, all three evil beasts and all that.

Frontier is fun. :3 Its best played when you're bored and have simply NOTHING to do -- battling hours and hours to get to the Stadium Master, defeating him or her and getting a badge .. and that's it.

Yeah, so the Battle Centers would be a waste of time to you. I still never found Crystal's Battle Tower boring - it was great or something to me. I've got no idea why, but I love everything in Crystal.
 
Ohhh, Crystal. I loved that game; the graphics seem pathetic in comparison to the more recent games, but at the time I played it I thought they were just spiffy. Really, Crystal'd be better than Sapphire if it got redone [like, not majorly changed - just modernised and such]. In my opinion, anyway.
 
You're right actually. Nintendo should've made a GSC remake instead of a RGB remake. >: Speaking of which, I wonder what FR/LG's special game will be.
