It's a pity, Nintendo know we'll buy whatever they put out there... But everyone, old and new gamers alike, would all buy a G/S/C remake.

Out of the topic: I like yours too, what program do you use?

What do you guys think of the game storyline and the amine storyline, should they be the same?
--Olu

Even though Nintendo won't admit it, we all know a G/S remake is coming :D
On the bright side, a new generation isn't due for another year or so, right?

off-topic:
(again...this is getting funny) I use photoshop

Definately not, Olu!
The anime is nothing like the games. They have ash, and he's the protagonist of the original kanto games, while the following regions all had their new "heroes". The anime adapted by letting Ash change clothes, and make the female starter character go with him on the trip.

Slight anime bashing
: If there was a more mature anime starring others than Ash (hint hint, the manga! hint hint) then I would like to watch it though.

Off topic (gotta go with the flow) : Olu, your theme is aaaawesome! Brendan <3 (or Ruby in manga....)

The game storyline doesn't change very much, it's pretty much the same thing (8 badges, evil team, pokedex...)
Animewise, I would like to see a bit of Character development. I mean Ash is still the same guy we met in Season 1, he's a bit wiser (sometimes) but if someone was to compare an episode from season 1 and from the latest episode, he wouldn't notice how far the two are. (except for the clothes :P). Ash should be wiser by now, right?

off-topic: (I won't break the chain :P) Olumuyiwa, your theme is simple but at the same time the colors are warn and nice :)
Fabledawn, "you know" that your theme rocks :D:D

That's a very good point, Darkkchild. Pokémon is a really "bad" anime speaking of character development. Ash would be about 13-14 now, wouldn't he? At least 13. In the third movie pikachu short, it's been a year since he and Pikachu met. Why doesn't he turn eleven then??

you-know-what topic: I know... :D

Ash should have turned 11 if he had started his Pokemon journey on his tenth birthday. I guess he wasnt aged so the 8 year olds that watch it can enjoy it more, plus Ash's vocie may have started breaking >.<

Just like Mikey Mouse, our Ash won't grow old :(
He does LOOK more mature, but he's the same height as Dawn, who is 10...
Amazing how 10 year old kids are everywhere in that world :D:P (Roaming the streets alone :D)

off-topic: got nothing to say here, but, again, I don't wanna break the chain (this is getting lame :P)

AAhhahahaa I'd really like to hear that in the anime someday:

Ash: Pikachu go-*squeek*-o!
Brock: Excuse me? What was that?
Ash *highpitched*: Nothing!
Brock: ASH! Did you lie about the producers castrating you??

Meh, what they really need to do is create more mature, grittier anime... It was the anime that destroyed Pokemon, to be honest.

Actually, it's still in Japanese... I watched it with subtitles. Not much talking in it though.. :P

off-topic: (seriously this time :P) Fabledawn, how old are you?

@Oni Raichu: I know wut you mean, I'm sick of their "happy" themes about love and living in harmony, bla bla bla :P

In other terms (again..) we need a real manga-style pokémon anime. Not necessarily based on a pokémon manga, but an anime featuring death, blood, aging, love, and pokémon who DON'T sound like their names! .... at least me don't like that last part. In the games, they do have sounds, not spoken names..

Added: If there was something like that, Pokémon would be more commonly accepted, and not regarded as only children's stuff.

What? I just missed three pages of this thread? No way!

Anyways, yeah, if I could write a Pokemon script... Actually, I started a thread about it on pe2k, nine pages and one ban later, it's still going with the best ideas of Pokemon meets 24 type movie.

Fable, what age are you?

Duh, guys. I'm hiding my age (once I didn't, but I found it easier to befriend various people doing so).... (this might be my imagination, though) .... (I know people don't care about age on PC) .... (but I've got a free choice, right?)
But I'll Pm yo. Since I'm a sneaky one.

lol.. I always found it ridiculous how Pokémon can speak their own names :P I can't imagine a Rabbit crying "RA RA" or a lion crying "LI LI"
:D:D hehe.. but that's your pokémon world.. what can you do??

We can slap our pokémon when they speak, to teach them how to behave.
No, I didn't mean that.
I really didn't.
Was it the anime that started the "pokémon sound like their names"-thing? DId the anime come before other media, like mangas?

Remember the anime espisode that explained how Meowth learned to talk? That broke all rules.

Also, DC, do you wanna be friends?

Although, that showed that they didn't follow the game completely. I think that was kind of a good twist, to have a pokémon learning to talk naturally. Not possible of course, but.... well... Hm, I can't say it any better than that.
