New Topic: Will Arceus or any other event Pokemon ever be available through normal gameplay?

My answer: I'm assuming no. Because events are ways to get more money (like Nintedno needs anymore. '>_<) and big companies never let go of things like that.

But why though. Why make us suffer? They have no real good reason to have event Pokemon. The least they could do is not give you ONE chance to get them. Maybe they could sell little downloadable chips that carry them on there in stores. That way, they still get their money, and people can have their legendaries.

No, because they are event Pokemon for a reason. I have a hacked Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus, but they are hacked. So, in answer to your question: No.

Yeah, but getting the device to hack isn't easy. You cant just go to Wal Wart and buy one.

I would just hack just for the sake of owning them. I certainly wouldn't battle someone with them.

So it doesn't mean you would be a bad player, it would mean you're a completionist. (that wasn't spelled right.)

I went to Toys R Us for a Mew, but on the other hand, that's the only way you can get a Mew anyway. It doesn't make you a bad player, the only way that you can get a Mew is Giveaways, it's not like you can find it as a wild pokemon. Not just speaking as a Mew but for all the giveaway pokemon, like... Celebi. Giveaways are the only way you can get the reallllllllly rare pokemon.
