FireRed hack: POKéMON CHRYSOCOLLA

Hey man, i hope the progress is going well, i saw your video and its very clear that you have put a lot of effort into this project, i like what you mention about giving a bit of a bump to the difficulty on the gyms cause thats something i always felt was a bit too easy on the originals, i hope someone can make a patch for the phisycal/special split cause i have just gotten so used to it now that going back to that system would be quite unfun to me.

Yeah I wouldn't mind a physical/special patch. If this hack doesn't require special ini's to open it up in hacking tools, I know I'm gonna do a bit of tweaking to gym leaders for my needs and definitely will edit the levels of wild pokemon if need be so I can train up my pokemon if I have no available trainers to battle on the routes. Honestly I also hope someone takes the time to make a harder version for the fans of harder versions of hacks.

@heyo will you be releasing documents with the gym leaders and elite four and champion teams and move sets? So we know what to plan for?
 
Can't wait for the hack to finish, just watched ur vid on this from March!
Game looks great, is there anywhere that I can watch or at least keep up with progress, just don't want to forget about this masterpiece 😅

Introduction:
Verre - a large region containing snowy climates in the north and tropical beaches in the south. Two mountain ranges known as Mt. Whitehead and Mt. Blackhead respectively divide the east and west into wasteland and lush forests. Ignore the fact that they sound like pimples... I came up with that idea 10 years ago.


Verre is filled with lots of ancient history, containing eight different ruin sites across the map and one big secret. It's also home to many interesting characters - many bad and many good.

Pokémon Chrysocolla version is a rom hack built to feel like it was made some time between RSE and DPP. With that gen 3 look and feel, collect the 8 Infinicade League badges and take on the sinister Team Alpha while you explore the new region.

There is currently no download available for a patch of the rom yet. This hack is still under progress, and I have run into some roadblocks that make the game unplayable from start to finish for the time being. I will update this post again in the future when a patch is available. For more details, you can check out my YouTube channel here where I explain some of the background (there is some foul language in the video so I didn't want to link it directly; the title of the video is "GAME FREAK won't like this...").
