Pokémon Spinoff: Pokémon Conquest: Ultimate - A Gen 9 Complete Overhaul of Pokémon Conquest! (v4.0.0 - June 1, 2025; Improved Documentation and Install Instructions!)

So glad that you're making a mod for this underrated gem of a game, and am excited to try it! Apologies if I missed this info anywhere, but do you have any additional updates on the battle simulator? I think that would be the ultimate way to play PVP Pokemon. Thanks!
Thanks for checking it out! The person working on it abandoned it for a few months, but hopefully it'll get picked up again sometime soon. I wouldn't expect a release anytime in the next couple months though. I'm debating whether to remove that from title or not as I don't want to mislead anybody.

I updated the "Download and Installation Instructions" to correct a very important typo in the newly added Method 2: xdelta section.

I am very sorry if this inconvenienced anybody. Hopefully you were still able to figure it out even with the typo, but I understand if not since the typo messed up the instructions. My apologies! If you tried to patch using the xdelta method in the last two days and were unable to get it to work, take a look at the updated instructions and try again. :]

It was bad to ask this but I'm new to this hack rom thing could anyone answer me if I update the game I lose my save? Or will he continue where I stopped?

holy smokes man, I've always wanted to try the game out, but never got the chance to, since it was so unique and heard great things (also I love SRPGs). exciting - going to use you hack to play it first time. thank you for the crazy overhaul 🙌
Thank you for the kind words! Conquest isn't the most popular spin-off, but it is fun! I hope you enjoy! :]

It depends on how you try and patch the game. As a general rule for romhacking, I would always recommend patching a new rom this avoid an issues with deleting save data from other games. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. :]

I saw someone made a very large post and then deleted it. I appreciate the feedback, even if I do not remember most of it. In answer to one question you asked about Sylveon and adding the Fairy-type, that is not currently possible, unfortunately. Hopefully some day that will be possible, and if so, it is definitely something I would consider! :]

  • Corrected an issue that would sometimes cause the Gallery to freeze and unable to be exited.

I added a Google Drive source in addition to the previously available OneDrive source. Hopefully this will help more people be able to play the game. The text documentation has also been greatly improved so that if you do not have access to the Excel Database, you should still have all the needed information available to you. I intend on working to make the file size of the Excel Database smaller, as I know it is very large and a bit restrictive for some people right now.

This is the first time I have ever replaced Pokemon in the game, and it will probably be the last. When making the game, the roster of Pokemon went through many revisions, and none more so than the Rotom forms jumping on and off the roster. Obviously, they ultimately made it into the game, but it is something I have regretted pretty much since release. I want to give as many Pokemon the chance to shine as possible, and I felt they were taking away spots from other Pokemon that I wanted to spotlight. Electrode-Hisui, Lanturn, Arctozolt, and Kilowattrel were in at various points of development, and now they're back! I hope you enjoy using them.

Existing Electrode-Hisui, Lanturn, and Arctozolt will retain the Levitate ability from the Rotom forms. Enjoy your flying fish. If you wish to get the proper abilities, take them to the Mystery Springs to change their ability or link with a new wild Pokemon. Moves, stats, and sprites will automatically update. :]
