The perfect Pokémon game for the GBA. A community project where those who want to contribute can contribute to this hypothetical project.
here are my ideas.
-Kanto, Johto, Sevii Islands, Whirl islands. Nothing gets left out, 2 day cares , safari zone and everything else.
-Add in all graphical details from RYB, GSC and HG SS. mainly make the game feel more alive by adding in more things in the environment like different kinds of trees with different colors, more foliage add enough detail where it would resemble the project Johto Redrawn but within the limitations and reality of how much you can see on one screen.
-Make the game start in Kanto and have the whole story from fire red intact. after beating the Kanto E4 you go to Johto and go through the HG SS story line. it would make the game feel streamlined and have more natural progression
- Add in all the modern battle mechanics excluding Dynamax forms and mega evolutions.
-All the essential QOL improvements that every generic hack has.
-No HM salves you just gain the abilities to fly ,cut, surf, etc
-Only the first 2 gens available with the exception of 3rd evolutions for Pokémon like Magby and Elekid.
-Double battle format throughout the whole game. Team rocket will have a larger Pokémon pool to choose from instead of using the same shitty Pokémon like Gastly and Meowth
-Every trainer you encounter will always use a different Pokémon from the last one it used.
-After the 4th gym most trainers will have fully evolved Pokémon only in there teams.
-Drayano Battle Mechanics, stats, movepools, Pokémon locations etcs. i want this game to be like a real life tournament simulator where hardcore fans can train and prepare for real world tournaments.
-New game plus mode that is unlocked after beating the E4. you can ask trainers in kanto to rematch you with higher leveled teams or their normal teams. this would allow you to raise a whole new team organically through battling, or train your higher leveled main Pokémon with their newgame plus mode teams. so essentially you can start again at pallet town with a team of 6 lvl.5 Pokémon and go through kanto again with that new team without having to expshare raise them, every gym and its members will also do the same also the E4 and Boss Trainers.
-All team rocket scripts, events, and quests reset including rival battles everyone will ask you what team you want to face (Normal or Hard mode) but the player will keep all their HM abilities
-No HP healing items usable only stuff like paralyze heal and x-attack will be usable. all hold items can be used. give more purpose to some city's like make certain ones have certain items that would fit that city's theme that way you would want to visit them after beating the E4 twice.
-Battle backgrounds
-Enhanced A.I with merciless aggression
-New Areas and improved designs that would fit the world naturally.
-Choose from 6 starters.
