FireRed hack: Pokémon Elysium (GBA)

Yeah, wondering if updating to the new version should be done through save state or via normal save.

This was on the previous version, but after beating the tournament in Liliya whenever I use Teleport I end up in Smalta which seems to be much further along in the game since the wilds are level 64. Seems to be a softlock since some guy named Wade talks about a generator and wants me to follow him inside a building but a NPC is blocking the entrance. No big deal since I had a save state right before this, but yeah. (Also forgive me if I got the town names wrong, I don't have the game handy atm).

Hey, I was about to write about the level gap after 6th badge. The leader was level 80+ with me being level 70. Will the save be backwards compatible, or should I keep playing on older version? Many thanks for taking all the suggestions from the community. You're amazing!

Thanks! Either option works. I usually recommend sticking with the current version but the latest two are compatible. Just be sure your character isn't in a Poke Center when you switch versions. Just makes sure you have a backup save if you decide to do so. Otherwise switch when you reach part B.

Hello! Thanks for reporting this bug. You're right. you're not supposed to be in that town until much, much later in the game. I'll look into it. Save states should work fine for updating but make sure your main character isn't inside a PokéCenter when you switch versions. Saving while being inside a random citizen's house or a market should be fine.

How do I travel back to Rhea after going to savannh in chapter 2? Can't seem to do it using fly

Once you are in Savahnn, you can return to Rhea only after completing the main story there. To do so, head to the port and speak with the sailor in front of the ship that brought you.

Hello Kaiser. I finished the previous version one or so week ago and i just start with the 2.2.0 version thanks for the love you put in. I will come back with my feelings and reviews later but for now can you tell me where can i find the Fire Fight monkey pokemon use by the girl in karyap Monastery.

Hello!
Do you mean Infernape? It's not obtainable in this game, like some other Pokemon. There's a list of obtainable Pokemon in the download folder. If you're looking for a Fire-Fighting type, you can go with Torchic. You can catch one at

After updating my game I have a EXP. All effect active, this happens when I update on both save state or normal save. From what I understand from the patch notes I'm not even supposed to have this and I don't have the item itself to turn it off, so yeah... Not sure if I should continue on the previous version or not. I just got to Astrantia.

I see. It might be best to go back to the previous version you started with, in my opinion.

I guess I would hate to miss out on the new stuff though. If there's a chance you'll fix this in a future update I wouldn't mind waiting.

This isn't exactly a bug, just a compatibility issue between the two versions. However, in this link, you can find the current version (ignore the name of the folder, it says 2.1.1 but it's 2.2.0), which includes a man who can switch your Exp. Share with Exp. All and vice versa. You'll find him on the top floor of Astrantia's department store. Trade your Exp. Share for an Exp. All, turn it off (it's on the key items on the bag), and trade it back again to continue. As I mentioned, Exp. All disrupts the game's balance, which is why this version isn't the official one.

Yeah, I wanted the intended balance of the game. That did the trick, thanks! I really appreciate it.

Too bad. I was really head over getting it. If you ever think of making a 3.0 version, you may consider a way of catching any pokemon that isn't a legendary already own by one of the png like infernape or houndoom. You mentionned that you add a guide for the side quests, can you give out a link to download it? I also start all over again because i had some unfinished one in the 2.2.0 version. Thanks for the reply

Sure, you can download that guide here.

I rushed to update so I could see this, but the first NPC I spoke to still had weird grammar/typos and I found many more after that.

I see. Thanks for pointing that out. The game contains lots of dialogue and there are bound to be instances where some lines, especially from random NPCs, probably haven't been revised but I hope they are rare enough not to be a problem. I genuinely spent a lot of time working to fix that.

If there's any way I could help I'd be happy to. I did take some screenshots, or I could go back and make a note of the lines, or if you have a repo I could do a pull request.

It can be difficult even for native speakers to find errors. That's why editors get paid to do the job! Also I've heard a lot of great things about the game, so I will probably try to get past the errors anyways.
