Story
Anyone remember Pokémon GuardianBlue from the Scrapbox back in October?(if not, click here) This is the overhaul/continuation of it.

You start off as a young hero/heroine, 3 years after the events in Johto and Sinnoh, visiting your grandmother in the beautiful port city of Olivine, in the Johto region. While leaving your grandmother's house, she alerts you to a phone call from your mother, who resides at your house in Slateport City in the Hoenn region. Your mother tells you of a suprise she has for you. Since your stay in Olivine is coming to an end, she has your grandmother give you your Ferry Pass back to your hometown.

On your way to where the SS Aqua ship resides, not short from your grandmother's house in Olivine, you are almost attacked by a notched ear Pichu! An unnamed trainer pushes you out of the way, to battle the Pokémon, and eventually catches it. After a few words it turns out both of you are going to the same destination, on the SS Aqua. Later you and the trainer arrive in Slateport, at nighttime, and the trainer, Shane, starts his way back to his hometown, Mauville, and hopes to see you again.

Your mother is waiting for you outside of the exit of the Harbor, to escort you home in the dark. (xD) Once home, your mother has you go to sleep, for the suprise in the morning. You do so.​

You wake up after having a dream about a red/blue flying Pokémon(depending on your version). You continue downstairs as if the dream never happened. The Hoenn region's Professor, Birch, is in the downstairs of your house, with both of your parents, as your father arrived home while you were sleeping. Your parents, after see you walk downstairs, introduce the Professor to you. Your parents and the Professor get into a short conversation to you about starting a Pokémon journey, in an island region east of Hoenn. They all agree that it would be a better experience for you to start your journey outside of the Hoenn region, as you already have visited most of the Hoenn region with your parents in the past, and that the region isn't too far, and with easy access to the Battle Frontier, at a far later time. The professor gets to talking of an evil team, Team Opal, in this [Currently Unnamed] region, who have captured an unknown Pokémon, who is supposively considered the "guardian" of the region. The professor explains how this would be the only con to challenging the [Currently Unnamed] region's gym and league challenge., and doubts you would have any encounter with this evil team, and how it shouldn't be any kind of burden on you. So.. after the chat, your parents give you what you need to start your journey, including, obviously, your first Pokémon, a Vulpix! Also, you receive a Pokégear, and five Pokéballs.​

Soon later, you arrive at Acacia Island, in the [Currently Unnamed] region. The Island is a small, historic looking(not shown in the screenshots atm) island, with none other than a Latios/Latias monument-statue(depending on your version) in town. Soon, you happen to have an encounter with Team Opal, and a certain Pokémon. The rest of what happens branches off from there. You'll have to play it for yourself to find out the rest.

The story is still very much a WIP, but the main points are solid from what we plan to do in the hack. Not everything that happens is and will ever be included in the first post. From release to release, you'll have to find out for yourself.​

Features

- Two versions!, Once EonBlue is finished, slight changes will be put in to fit EonRed's minor detail changes. EonRed will also offer some more easter eggs, not found in Blue, and vice versa.
A third version may be considered, including changes in both EonBlue and EonRed's concepts, and including easter eggs, wild Pokémon, and other version exclusives, in one version, as with other third versions.
- New story!, revolving around Latios and Latias!
- New island region!, and some areas from existing regions you know and love! xD
- New hero/heroine!, characters!
- Mass trainer request! Basically, everyone in the hack will be a real person in some way, or originate from one, besides the hero/heroine, your mother, and the main friend/rival throughout the game. A form for requests is in a later section of this thread.
- New Radio and TV system!
- Underground system! Like DPPt(and most likely HGSS)
- The starer(Vulpix) follows, in Centers and Marts
- Many easter eggs and cameos!
- HeartGold and SoulSilver tiles! (eventually. the tiles are ready, for the most part, but need to be inserted at a later time :P)
- Some revamped GSC tiles
- New sick nasty Pokémon Center pallettes!, though still a wip atm...

It's nice to see that our thread got some good feedback already =P.
Anyways, I think I'm going to focus on the graphics for now, until I script a little more. Basically there's only that one event with your grandma and the phone call right now. But I'm gonna start working on my HGSS base again, and put tiles from it in here.

Hey, it's someperson2008, just updating the thread from Ian's acct. I added 10 more screenshots to the first post, showing glimpses of some of the new areas. More screenshots to come soon! Also, the thread look is minorly changed.

Over time, I also plan to remove some, though, because I've kinda been going crazy with them, imo. xD

That's probably a good idea. You'll only generally need one screenshot of each area/script, as otherwise, it looks like you have less work done. If you could get maybe 6 screenshots of different places and scripts, it would look better than having like 25 screenshots of the same script. ^^

Done. I edited a few out earlier. xD. There's still like, over 20, but meh, it's a good amount imo atm.
