[Released] Pokémon Fuso's Meteor

Enjoying the game so far, I have a question though, can the Pokemon in the casino be shiny? I hope i'm not wasting my time by hunting something that's locked
Thank you! :] And yes they can, I did not shiny lock them. It's the same percentage chance as wild encounters (0.5%).

Just did a test to make sure.

Been a while since I've posted on here (I'm usually more active on the Discord). v1.0.6 was released a few weeks ago, containing considerable changes since v1.0.5. Here's a breakdown of the changes...

QoL Changes:
  • All wild/traded/gift Pokémon have 31 IVs by default; you can also buy IV decreasers from the Pharmacy in Neo Fuso.
  • DexNav implemented. Just like in ORAS, you can now select the Pokémon you want to hunt for, and they have a chance to have rare egg moves. Access from the Pause Menu.
  • Infinite Repel, which can be toggled on/off. Received at the start of the game from your father (OR at Tebwatown Pokémon Centre). Since regular Repels are now pointless, I have removed them from the game.
  • Nickname Pokémon from the party; no need to worry about Name Raters now.
  • The option to ban bag usage in battles, and if you want damage variance in battles or not.
  • The Chapter 8 Prison section is a lot less painful now. Most Houndoom are a bit more "forgiving" and won't send you all the way back, most C.O.'s are skippable and have somewhat more diversified teams, and there is a portal near the final boss section on the 6F if you need easy access to go back and retool your team or whatever.
  • You can skip text now, by pressing the 'A' button. I also condensed rematch dialogue of most of the major boss battles.
Difficulty Changes:
  • Easy and Normal mode have been significantly nerfed; Easy mode should be a total cakewalk now.
  • Veteran mode also received some nerfs; boss battles from Chapters 1 to 6 have been nerfed, at least to some degree. Battles should be noticeably easier, especially with the QoL changes above.
  • In an effort to reduce heal item spam, I've restricted boss battles to only use one Potion etc. This is something I'll continue throughout most of Season 2 as well.
  • The Mid-Battle dialogue or boosts for almost all the battles that use them have been changed/nerfed.
Misc Changes:
  • Buffed Yamask/Cofagrigus.
  • Brave Balls & Weak Potions available in South Fuso's PokéCentre.
  • Rewrote the male Rival's dialogue to sound less immature, and added cutscenes to gradually flesh out the rivalry between the player & him.

Hey just checking is part 2 done or a while before anything come out. I want to see you take on a person est 5ds storyline hopefully a mega evolution of clear mind
No, not yet. I'm still figuring out some of the writing for Season 2 before I get to the mapping. Without spoiling too much, I do have a good idea of how I want things to play out with the evil government, and I do know exactly how things end (I've been dropping tiny hints here and there in Season 1). Season 2 ties in a lot of the overarching themes. :]

Updated Fuso's Meteor to v1.0.7
A smaller update this time, focusing on bug fixes and meta changes.

Bug Fixes:
  • fixed the DexNav glitches where it wasn't returning the correct form of a Pokémon sometimes.
  • fixed code that was previously making Alolan Marowak and Galarian Mr. Mime unobtainable.

Buffs/Misc.:
  • the following Pokémon received some buffs: Armaldo, Centiskorch, Chatot, Cradily, Ditto, Fomantis/Lurantis, Jumpluff, Kingdra, Luxray, Mawile, Mightyena, Mr. Rime, Ninetales, Sableye, Skarmory, Spoink/Grumpig, Victreebel, Whiscash, Yamask/Cofagrigus.
  • Petal Blizzard is now 110 BP and has 100% chance to lower speed.
  • Anger Shell, Wind Rider and Supersweet Syrup implemented in the game.

Six months in, thousands downloaded, hundreds on our Discord server, and multiple Let's Plays. Thank you all so much for the support! I appreciate you all for giving Fuso's Meteor a chance, and for the feedback for helping me improve the game. :]
Currently, I am still working out the writing for Season 2 - making sure everything ties in together, ensuring certain characters get their proper comeuppance, and hopefully a satisfactory conclusion for this story. I'll try to keep you in the loop as to how development goes (I'm a bit more active on the Discord/dev blog channel). It's going to be a while. But the primary goal is to figure out the writing and once I'm confident in it, I'll be ready to start mapping/eventing. ☄️

Wanted to give some updates as to what I had been working on these past couple months. While I'm generally more active on the Discord, I get that not everyone uses Discord and want to keep the others in the loop with Fuso's Meteor Season 2 development.

- I do know how the main story is supposed to end, and little tidbits that have been dropped throughout Season 1 are intended to build up to that.
- Season 2 will have a more autumnal "feel" to better reflect the themes and overall atmosphere.
- you will have the opportunity to explore the eastern portion of Fuso and the Tebwa region.
- I have a pretty solid idea of how I'll be approaching the Dragon's Cup tournament arc (which will be in the early part of Season 2).
- yes, Megas will be obtainable and you will be able access at least some Megas early Season 2.
- don't worry, I'm not going to lock the best TM's alllll the way to the very end. You'll be able to get your Ice Beams and Earthquakes early-to-mid Season 2.
- I've pretty much finished writing up Kirika's storyline. Her friendship with the player is explored in more depth and she is key to the events of Fuso's Meteor, without getting into spoiler territory.
- figuring out a few details of the male Rival character. He has his own motivations that are separate from the evil government.
- I am exploring the idea of adding a small selection of regionals. Not too many. But I do have a few fun ideas. ☄️
