I knew Blaine, I had faced him twice before, one for the badge five years ago and the other when team rocket and Team skyrider were having a war. I had barly beaten him both times and frankly I didnt think it was smart to hang around here. I didnt want to be reconized by the old coot, he was a nutter and I didnt need the greif from him, Espeaciily the short joke.
I started to walk out very slowly while he was distracted with the trainer's talking to him.
 
From the top of the volcano, Lena could see everything. Not exactly in focus, but still everything. To the West were the Seafoam Islands, and North was Pallet Town and the Oak Laboratory.
Lena slid off Arcanine's back and looked down into the mouth of the volcano. It emitted a dull heat, and threatened to swallow both her and her pokémon whole. Lena took out her pokénav. "I'm in position."
"Good girl," came the reply from the other end. "Start charging those new moves you learnt. Remember, we're working for the greater good." The voice was dark, and slightly muffled.
"Yes, sir." With that, Lena closed the line and slipped the device back into her pocket. For the greater good. She looked down at the city below. There were still a few people wandering the streets. They would die, but their sacrifice would not be in vain. There would be more benefit than suffering. Team Magma was all about the good of humans and pokémon ...
She released her espeon, and it stood beside the arcanine. "Both of you, get into position." Both pokémon nodded, lowered their heads and spread their forepaws. The arcanine began to glow a pale red, and the espeon a bright gold. "Just keep those attacks charging. We can't mess this up."
 
OOC: You double-posted. Just delete one of them. It happens to me as well. It's the server. I think the site is under some sort of repairs or something because it's getting ridiculous already. I mean the site has been acting weird for the past 4 days already. At least for me.

IC:

Brad felt the ground shake again. His Wartortle tugged his shirt; he looked down and saw Shellshocker pointing up towards something up on top of the volcano. Brad turned and looked up. He wiped the sweat off of his forehead with the back of his free hand and squinted his eyes with his hand blocking the sun to see what was up the volcano and could see an Espeon.

"No way.. it couldn't be." Brad said to himself.

"Could it?" He asked Shellshocker.

He has to get up the volcano, something is up there that is causing the tremors. Whatever it may be he has to stop it. But how? He can't climb the volcano in time and the cable car is already full of people.

"Aww crud... Blaine was right, something bad is going down and it's probably my rival team." Brad said in a panic.
 
Lena held her hand out, ready to signal her pokémon to go. She was trying to put it off until the last possible minute - the stronger the attacks were, thr further the lava would spread, leaving more land area. The espeon's eyes were glowing bright red, as was the jewel on its forhead. The arcanine was growling softly, as the heat that was being stored inside its body began to reach a climax. "No one can stop us ... just keep charging. Like Maxie said before we left."
The pokémon growled their affirmation and held their position.

((Waiting for someone to, like, ambush them or something, or at elast for the main charries to get out of the way. O.o))
 
"what the heck cinnabar volcan errupting"nakaba said not realy caring."wait a minute what is team magma?"nakaba said densely."iv'e never heard of team magma."Nakaba didn't want the town or island of cinnabar to be destroyed even though he hadn't been there for to long."to save this little island we're going to have to fight them won't we."He added.then thought"charizard looks like we might have ourselves a battle our 300 on our hands you up for it." meanwhile charizard was inside his pokeball thinking about the life nakaba hid from him. "what is going on out there."charizard thought feeling all the shaking.
 
Brad looked up the volcano and went into a panic and got fustrated a bit. He began to walk around a bit and then looked back up at the volcano again.

"Aww man, aww crud, how am I gonna get up there... I can't climb this thing." Brad told himself.

However he has no other choice. People around him began to lose their balance as the ground shook more. Some even pointed up towards the volcano,

"Hey look!" One shouted.

"I see some smoke, what a sight! Quick, get the camera!" Said another.

Just then a girl who was with the guy spoke,

"Hey! Look at that there is a girl up there!"

Brad immediatly turned again and looked back up past the blazing sun. Yeah, there is someone up there after all.

"Oh man, oh man... alright... okay." Brad said getting into focus and stared at the volcano.

"Shellshocker come, we are going to climb the volcano." Brad told him.

The Wartortle cracked its claws and jumped on top of the volcano and began climbing. Brad followed.

Even though its late afternoon, it's still so hot. Brad became a sweaty mess as he climbed the volcano.

Shellshocker's hand slipped while climbing Brad.

"AH! Shellshocker! Hold on!" Brad said as he grabbed Shellshocker's hand right in time,

"Tortle...." Shellshocker said in a scared tone.

"It's okay, grab hold." Brad said as he swung the Wartortle back to the volcano where there they continued climbing.

It's been hours since they were climbing. What a stupid idea Brad thought. He climbed up and is completely out of breath with his Wartortle right next to him.

"Tch... augh... eh..." Brad muttered as he tried to speak but he has to catch his breath.

He leaned over and grabbed his legs and bent down to catch his breath with Shellshocker doing the same.

"Okay... augh... *gasp*... hey.... augh..." Brad managed to say.

He looked up to see an Espeon and an Arcanine who were accompanied by a female trainer.

"It can't be.....tch......tah..... you? No...uh... *gasp*" Brad said as he realized the trainer is Lena.
 
Lena turned to Brad and sneered. "You're too late, I'm afraid. I just need to say the word, and this volcano's gonna blow! Humph. Too bad your precious water's going to have to go," she said sarcastically, one hand on her hip. "In case you and your buddies back at Aqua headquarters haven't noticed, people can't live on land. That's why Team Magma's here to help everyone."
She looked down into the lava. "I failed my first mission, thanks to some snot-nosed kid. But this time, I've got the advantage. And the only people who even had a chance of stopping us are too late."
The whirring of helicopter blades sounded in the distance. "There's my ride," she said cooly. "Espeon, hyper beam. Arcanine, blast burn. Attack!"
The two pokémon threw back their heads and did as they were commanded. The espeon released a powerful blast of gold and rede into the mouth of the volcano, which twined around the thick, white-hot burst of flame that had erupted from the arcanine's maw. The attacks hit the surface of the lava, and all was silent for a second, but not for long. A ray of light came from the volcano's mouth, and as the lava quickly rose upward, a deep rumbling came from under the earth. "See ya', Brad!" she laughed, returning her pokémon and running towards the helicopter.
 
Nakaba gawked at the helicopter "dang th volcanos gonna blow blastoise and I have to stop it or we could follow the helicopter yeah I'll follow the helicopter charizard go were following a helicopter." Nakaba said." I want to battle god dang it!" Charizard shouted but did as he was told and darted towards the helicopter with nakaba on his back as they passed by brad and asked if he wanted a lift. "we don't have time to let them even get on me we'll lose the helicopter!"charizard shouted pointing at the helicopter flying away.
 
"NO! LENA! BUT WHY!" Brad yelled for her but got nothing due to the helicopter and the eruption.

He felt bad and sorry. He's not part of Team Aqua anymore, but he still had to come anyway. It is right he is too late and his Wartortle is too weak to do this alone. But he has to try, he has to do something!

In a burst of energy, Brad bolted for it. He ran after Lena, but it was all for loss, she made it in time for the helicopter and it began to fly away.

Brad closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He opened them and jumped for it. He jumped for the helicopter. He made it but he fell and caught himself by grabbing on to the skid.

"AH MAN!" Brad yelled.

The helicopter began to depart with him on the skid leaving his Wartortle back on top of the volcano.

"WAR!!!!" Shellshocker yelled out for Brad.

He then began to climb back down, what a feat it would be.

"Oh man! Lena! LENA!!!" Brad yelled as he held on to his life trying to climb back into the helicopter.
 
Lena looked down at Brad. "Hm? Oh, that's a good look for you, you know. Dangling from a helicopter, holding on for dear life." She chuckled and said something to the pilot. He gave her a thumbs up, and as they came to Fuschia City, they began to descend by the shoreline. Lena took out a pokéball and pressed a button, releasing her skarmory into the air. "Go get the loser and his pokémon. I don't want more paperwork when I get back to base," she instructed. The skarmory screeched loudly and dived down until it was gliding a few inches from Brad's feet.
 
"let's blow the helicopter to bit's they'l pay for what they've done and I will finaly get my will desrved fun!" charizard shouted. "no let's think this through beside's that we've got to save that guy for all we know he could be the one with the key to saving us from the volcano." Nakaba said. "It's just like you to ruin my fun." Charizard complained."shut up and fly over to brad we are on an official rescue mission." Nakaba demanded.Charizard unwillingly flew towards brad."hop on we've got to save that wartortle over there and follow the helicopter."Nakaba said to brad. "Oh crap a skarmory!"charizard shouted at the metal bird.
 
"No Lena! But Why! What happened to that girl I met!?" Brad yelled out for her.

There was some turbulence that shook Brad quite a bit making him dangle with one hand grabbing hold of the skid.

"Ahh crud!" Brad yelled.

He is now over the ocean and is obviously nowhere near Cinnabar now. He actually has no idea where he is as there is a giant iron bird flying towards him.

"AHH CRUD! WHAT IS THIS THING?! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Brad yelled as he tried to kick it away, however he slipped and fell off.

"AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Brad screamed as he fell into the ocean.

SPLASH!!!

Brad fell in deep within the ocean, whether he made it or not is unclear but he is no where to be seen other then the ripples he created still floating in the water.

Back on Cinnabar, Shellshocker was left on top of the volcano however as he tried climbing back down he couldn't as the rising lava began to break through the rock.

"Tortle!" Shellshocker yelled.

He turned around and looked at the raising lava with his eye getting bigger each passing moment, he is gong to have to fend for himself now, if he wants to live.

He used his Bubblebeam on the lava but it seemed to be no good. He then used his waterpulse which was able to solidify some lava giving him some time to run. He has no other choice, he'll have to jump off the volcano.

The Wartortle jumped into the air and fell, as he fell he withdrew into his shell and used rollout. He began to roll down the volcano. In no time flat he made it down. However he was severly injured by doing this stunt and wasn't able to move very well.

"Wa..." Grunted the Wartortle as it picked itself up in great pain and started to limp away as fast as he possibly can from the erupting volcano.

Shouts of hundreds of people can be heard as the volcano began to erupt.
 
The skarmory screeched loudly, and Lena looked down at the charizard. "****," she muttered under her breath. She couldn't do anything right now. If they descended faster, Brad would get his block knocked off. If they stayed where they were, they were sitting ducks. She gritted her teeth.
The skarmory dived down into the water, the cool ocean streaming across its plumage. Sighting Brad falling slowly to the sea bed, it flapped its wings once, twice to reach him.
Lena swore again and signaled to the pilot. Again, he gave her a sign of affirmation and Lena took off her headband. "I'm gonna hate myself for this," she muttered as she dived head-first into the water.
The dive could have killed her. Luckily, the water was still disturbed from the skarmory's entrance and caused her no harm. She saw Brad and her skarmory and swum towards them. Clinging to her skarmory's neck, the metal bird gripped Brad's collar in its talons and headed towards the surface.
 
"what the! Darn skarmory's probably after us now luckily for us fire vs steel that's not good on his behalf but what about the guy that fell into the ocean I know supersonic charizard!" this gave him some time to look and see if the other guy still had a shot at living."go blastoise return charizard!' nakaba shouted and in a magnifient red flash was in water looking for brad although he only had two minutes before he had to go up for air blastoise swamthrough seaweed looking for brad with no prevail. They went up for air and saw that skarmory holding brad in it's talons."****!" Nakaba shouted.
 
Without knowing what to do, Shellshocker ran for the beach near Brads house. However it couldn't get there fast with the screaming of people and them running about and him in critical condition. He could hardly even walk anymore.

Shellshocker made it half way there where he caught up with Luther where Brad and Rain where when they were fighting and there it just sat down and began to wobble its head back and forth as it is very tired.

Brad is uneasy, he coughed up water as it spat out of his mouth and saw Lena but in a blur looking down on him. He remembers the last tme in a quick flashback to when she last looked down on him. He can feel the hot sand underneath him, they must've landed on a shoreline somewhere. He couldn't really hear a thing. He smiled,

"This...is the....second time.." He told her where there he passed out again.

His surfboard washed ashore next to him as if its a part of him he can never let go of.
