Thanks, and i want to know whre is trapinch?
ThanksSpoiler:At Desert
This is gold! Thank you very much! This is greatly appreciated! Here some questions:Here is my feedback:
Even with the fast mode (in options)? Do you think that the battle start is the biggest culprit? The game is sooo slow
Do you mean when the battle start or the pokéball shakes?Big waste of time waiting to see if I can catch something
You only need to complete 3 quests to "reset" the quests, receiving a new batch. Are you using this feature or trying to complete all quests?I had a quest like "Defeat 120 wild Pokémon" – sounds trivial, but it's slow and repetitive
Even with Habitat Dex?Lack of a wiki or Discord. I want to Google some things and feel complete, instead of finding everything by myself – especially the second portal on the sea, which I still couldn't find.
Did you mean how much you already got or how much you need? About the former, almost all can all be checked in some place, multicultural count can be checked at Research and Development Center, but it isn't directly mentioned and I didn't inform the max. Perhaps I need to do both. The only one that can't be checked in any place are Punter, Philanthropist and Mining Expert.Lack of proper tracking in the Medal Case – for example, "Multicultural" should show progress.
I tested right now and it is working. Are you sure that you first pokémon isn't of a level lower that the wild pokémon?Repel doesn't work at sea, while Super and Max do.
I just added some number so your questions so it is easier to track:This is gold! Thank you very much! This is greatly appreciated! Here some questions:

Again, great feedback. Some of these things that you said, like the Medal Case progression and teleport to new building I never thought about.
1. "game stops in backgroud" is how standard games that uses RPG Maker works.I just added some number so your questions so it is easier to track:
1. Yes, for quest like kill 120 pokemons loading times takes a lot - IMO too long. I'm not sure if that's my issue or not but game stops in backgroud, in meantime I was playing other game to save some load time but it wasn't working as expected.
2. No, no, when catching pokemon, all the looking for battle, entering battle, throwing pokeballs, trying to catch and leaving battle takes time. I know it is just second but we all seen this animations thousand of times, those are just boring to me and I would like to skip them as I'm skipping in other games.
3. I'm always trying to do all quests but I'm aware of skipping.
4. Habitat dex doesn't bring much to me. I want to know what building will be avaiable after building X, or which one npc and where sells item Y etc.
5. Yes, everything in one place as example. I don't want to look for specific npc "somwhere" - again need of wiki - to see what's my progress. Usually I'm working during playing so I keep forgetting what I was doing in game and running back and checking is not option as example to me.
6. Ah, it could be the case
I didn't noticed before that Island is different than other games in this feature XDReal randomness instead of the fake one where resetting the fight makes it the same
This is really an issue. I want to made a buiding where you can pay to increase bag, but I keep leaving this to the next versionPlayer bag is waaaaay too small.
1. I'm also playing other games made in RPG maker, even during writing this message and animations keeps moving - also pokemon games1. "game stops in backgroud" is how standard games that uses RPG Maker works.
2. I see, I should add more skipping. Some animations like pokéball bouncing have no purpose to repeat over and over.
3. I made the quest skipping to solve these issues. For people who are hunting several pokémon, defeating a lot of wild pokémon is something common. And 120 (a rare amount) is only in endgame quests, mean to be made in parallel with other things. But a lot of people are disliking some quests and still trying to do all. To help with this issue, I'm thinking in decrease the bonus on completing all tasks and increase base value, plus adding NPC to tell that is faster to skip quests sometimes than doing all.
4. I see, this is different that I thought.
5. I see. I didn't want to put all to avoid ruining the surprise factor, but I certainly can add more.
Thanks for the answers!

1. The recents pokémon fangames generally uses a custom game player (mkxp-z) rather than RPG Maker player. You can check by pressing F1, the custom one have a black control menu. Adapting Island to this player, retaining all features, is a time-consuming task.1. I'm also playing other games made in RPG maker, even during writing this message and animations keeps moving - also pokemon games
3. it is something different to catch specific pokemon and triggering a lot of fights - which is ok, rare is rare, and something different have to fight all of the encounters which usually makes you need to come back to the city to heal. While catching specific one, you don't really have to come back, just to trigger fight and use run.
oh and about parallel with other, great idea but if you get quests like defeat coloseum trainers and win against trainers in portal and some others, it simply can't be done parallel. Of course it is your game and your concept and if it is what you want.
5. Understandable, on the other hand some people want to finish the game with or without external help. People who need surprise factor can simply not look into discord/wiki.
I see how complex is Underground as example. I wouldn't mind to get just map of it, without connections or such, connections of it I can draw by myself but I went there like 10 times already and somehow second portal I found on my very first try and for some reason it was very last time I saw it.
Oh and I had one more question, what about shiny? Does it exist? Never seen one, but I'm also ok that shiny should be very rare, although many fanmade games make it a bit easier than Nintendo did
6. ah ok, I could keep rerolling for Rayquaza then haha. Many fan games are like 1/2 of offician shiny odds, so 2048 which brings to 1024 with shiny charm. From my experience it usualy let me see shiny during casual playing1. The recents pokémon fangames generally uses a custom game player (mkxp-z) rather than RPG Maker player. 3. I personally defeat the pokémon in canon games when I'm hunting for something to get experience, well, except if the wild pokémon have something like less than half of my level.
About quests in parallel , I mean other game goals. like earning exp and money. Even quests like going into second portal can be used as an excuse to explore areas, hatch eggs and level up Day Care pokémon. In non pokémon games that have Daily Missions (my inspiration for these quests), I try to do this way. Maybe I need to tweak more thing, so it feels more natural to do
5. I mean putting all info in Medal Case.
About the Underground, I understand that you mean very well. I tried 3 times in 3 different years and every time I got lost XD . I eventually find a way, but I can't expect that every player have this level of skill.
6. Yes! There are shiny pokémon! The chance is 1 in 4096, like XY and newer games. Some people already found a shiny. I found two times only. I like the idea of changing shiny odds, but only for shorter games, since founding a shiny in these games is even harder. Well, is possible that I change Island odds if I receive enough requests. What do you think about shiny odds?
Technically, in canon games with some exceptions, Shiny Charm multiplies by three times the chance (works this way in Island). So 1/2048 turns into 3/2048 (or 1/683). But devs can change it.6. ah ok, I could keep rerolling for Rayquaza then haha. Many fan games are like 1/2 of offician shiny odds, so 2048 which brings to 1024 with shiny charm.
