[Completed] Pokémon Island [v2.2] - 1025 Pokémon, Challenge Mode and more

Already 100% finished the game. (well, nearly 100% since I'm too lazy to collect some medal)
649 / 649 pokemon + 1 shiny Carvanha + 13 unown form
28 / 32 medal points (4 major achievement - all golden)
First hall of fame was at 3.00 hour
Completed the secret event

What left is
1) rarity shop medal - I'm pretty sure this is a bug, a serious one in my opinion. I check the shop again and again from time to time. I already brought everything from the rarity shop and still not get this medal
2) 100th heaven floor medal - I think I already gone there once, to the 101st floor. I think I saw the medal and then warp back. I look again much later and the medal disappeared. However, I'm not sure myself this is a bug or not, or maybe I just forget to save ?
3) 100-hour medal - Not inspire enough to open the game and AFK. Still 90+ hour at the time I write this post
4) unown medal - VERY BORED one. I went down to the treasure room (as some NPC called that room) more than 50 times. Or maybe more than 100 time, who know? Still got only 13/27 form. This is not fun at all.

Question
1) What should I do with Gracidea?
2) there are entrance at the left side of the first portal in the tunnel and the cave. We can't enter those place, right?
3) Can we go to the 9th floor of the hotel? (Not sure what is the highest floor but the last floor I can go is the one that IV/EV checker is on)

Language
1) When you complete the local trade station and talk to NPC there. She still speak in non English language (Portuguese? I guess)
2) When you maxed the coin case and talk to any game machine in the casino. Again, Portuguese? I guess
3) There is one (or more) Pokémon that it must be male in order to evolution further. Researcher in the lab say something about "if macho". Might consider changing this one too
There might be a few more but I cannot remember them

Bug (other than noted above)
1) Using reveal glass to some Pokémon caused the game to crash. (I test this on lugia and dark lugia, they both crash. Not sure about other Pokemon)

Suggestion

1) Improved the rainbow cloud area. Now it's just save and random bike around. Save again if you found the teleport. Reload if not. I know that one (or more?) mystical pokemon can be rarely encounter there but it's still boring.
1.1) Please considered check point. E.g.. at the 31st floor and 61 floor. So player can warp there from the teleport station
1.2) Might need some variation or random trainer or random event. Pokémon trivia, Random Pokémon duel, anything !

2) Improve the unown mechanism.
2.1) lower the chance of those one you already found.
2.2) lower the chance of "junk" item E.g. moon stone, revive etc.

3) Move the IV/EV checker to lower floor, or better, move him to the storage hall. It's too tired to walk there and return.

4) Sphere point should have other use, not just selling it. And the price is mediocre at best, the maximum price I see is 60 / point
4.1) As a new currency to buy something? trade Pokémon?

5) Remove the guy that compare your Pokedex and his Pokedex. I think you cannot win against him since at the time I write this post, he already got 700+ Pokémon in his Pokedex
5.1) or maybe add some events to him.
5.2) Limit his max Pokémon to 648. So player can have a chance to win

It might be nit picking but since this is my most favorite Pokémon fan made game, I would like to suggest so it can be improved.

Medals

1 and 2. Both are bugs. I gonna do a bugfix version soon and you can transfer your save into these versions, so you can have these medals.

3. This medal is problematic. I reduce it from version 1.2 to 1.3 (was a big metal). I gonna remove it on 2.0.

4. You found a fail in game (item) balance. I gonna raise the Unown chance. The 2.0 version will have also another way of obtaining the Unowns.

Questions

1. Use to change Shaymin form, like in official games.

2. Right. This is only lore (I probably make some NPC commenting about this)

3. No, the latest floor unlocks when you complete the game.

Suggestions

1. When I tested I didn't save since you can get a good amount of money selling the items found, plus training your party. I gonna raise the step limit and the items values (I already raised these two, but I'm gonna raise more) since you are saving+reset. People save+reseting is a big issue, I didn't expect this.

1.1. I guess that if I raise the step limit, the checkpoints aren't too necessary, but I may be wrong.

1.2. There is a random guy, but I gonna raise his chance. In fact, I have a crystal mechanics concepts that I wrote, but got delayed. In 2.0 the area will have a lot of exclusive pokémon, and an "event" about three pokémon associated with clouds.

2.1. Hmmm, I'm not sure, maybe I can make only new plates can be obtained while player doesn't have all on the version 2.0 new Unown method, but I guess that 2.0 will solve this.

2.2. I gonna do. Even on 1.3f (but only a little in this one).

3. Good idea! This guy was a workaround for a IV/EV screen that I didn't made yet. I forgot that people use him frequently.

4. I gonna think about it being used to buy other items. I like the concept of a selling item that have fluctuating price (the sphere system was based on the turnips from Animal Crossing). To 2.0 I gonna raise the price (I already thought about this, but after your feedback, I gonna raise even more).

5. I gonna reduce the pokémon caught by him. I didn't thought that he is unbeatable.

I made some simulations and the results are far worse that I expected.

1.3-1.3e: 7% of any plate. In 1600 tries you have 62% of collecting all Unowns
1.3f-1.3z: 14% of any plate. In 800 tries you have 58% of collecting all Unowns

I forget to say, but the version 2.0 have 3 methods of obtaining Unowns. I gonna do what you suggested, so in one of the methods, the Unown didn't repeat until you have all (I gonna give the plates in alphabetical order).

Also, I have a new idea for Rainbow Clouds. Now when you "drop", you gonna be near the "stairs".

Again, thanks for you feedback! You can get the two medals instantly if you update your game into 1.3f (talk to Rarity Shop owner to obtain his medal).

I've already completed all medals now (32/32) and got five stars on the trainer cards.

Totally, it took me about 99.49 hour to completed everything including all 28 unowns (except the 100-hour medal)

I'd like to say that this is my most favorite Pokémon fan made game in this site and thanks again for making this game
I haven't try version 1.3g yet but see you again in version 2.
I'm also thinking about starting a new journey in the next version. Not so sure but it's likely to be that way.

This version only has 3 fixes: One is very small, other is probably unnecessary and other is the update/lose crash fix.

Nice! By the way, on 2.0 I change a little the game structure so isn't possible to import the save. Maybe I will create something like a Pal Park if several people request for importing his pokémon.

No, I said that "at best case" it will released on march. But this didn't changed since I said, so is still possible that release came on march (or months/years later).

Since the versions are internally and externally very different, I broke the compatibility. If a lot of people ask, I may create something like a Pal Park or even a save conversor.

When I start the game, I choose Fennekin

When I start a new game and try popplio, with the same bug as above (see pokedex from quick menu), the game crash

Bug 2

HUD show something weird
When I start a new game. While Prof OAK is talking, the HUD show fennekin in my first Pokemon
This is weird because at that point I haven't selected any pokemon
The fennekin HUD disappear when I confirm my name

Bug 3

Sometimes, when the exp bar hit the end of the bar and the bell sound rang, I did not gain a level.
I need to fight another Pokémon, and you will gain the level

Language

After buying an old rod from the old man (after rank 2, before rank 3)
Talk to him again and he speaks in non-English (Portuguese ?, I assume)

Suggestion

I think all 15 starter might need to learn element attack a bit later than level 5
Because when some can use their element attack when they are level 5, Fighting rival is unnecessary difficult, especially very early in the game.
For example, when I pick Fennekin, my rival pick Froakie (if I remember correctly)
and he can already use Bubble (again, if I remember correctly)
Despite using 1xpotion, I still lose to the super effective move.

At that point, it is possible that the player will go to the arena first (since your rival taunt you to do so!)
In my opinion, It is not a good idea to let the player lose significantly at a very first match of the game, especially in an optional battle.
You can't grind some EXP before this fight
Because 1) if you ranked up to rank 2, the rival will also change their team. So rival starter level 5 must be fought before rank up
2) if you go to teleport station, you might miss something (although I don't know what that thing is lol. I notice that when you rank up, the receptionist tell you that you rank up without using teleport station )

You mean when you have rank 3 on Trainer Card.

About the moves, the Island 2.0 movepool is from SwSh learnset, but your point is very good! I probably at least change rival initial moves on 2.0 or 2.0.1
