[Completed] Pokémon Island [v2.2] - 1025 Pokémon, Challenge Mode and more

Hey! Just wanted to say this game is really fun! Thank you for your hard work working on this, it's addictive. I can't wait for future updates/projects from you, looking forward to them if you do have them in plans one day. :)

Thanks! Yes, I have plans for updates and to make more games (pokémon and non-pokémon games). But I probably will take several years for the new games, since my priority now are Island upgrades!

At your house (the one with blue roof), there is a PC.

But for storing pokémon, use Pokémon Storage facility. For storing items, use the chest at your house.

There was an error message? You are playing at a Windows, right? Try to do the first 3 items mentioned at readme.txt. If the error continues and there is a traceback.log/errorlog.txt in the game folder root, please send me (or post here).

I have a problem, When I'm installing it says It has to extract RGSS thing and I did then when I run the game it justs take me to the default joiplay screen

So you didn't get an error message. Do you have the latest patreon versions (1.20.032 + 1.20.41 plugin), or the one before latest (1.20.027 + 1.20.28 plugin)?

The latest was released today and I didn't know if Island works.

Did you disabled cheats like explained in the thread?

A player had the same issue and solved it disabling cheats.
 
As of this post, my furthest file of five is 8:18 in, at 12.51%, Rank 7D, Dex 25.
Really liking the Animal Crossing-esque feel of building up the Island via PKMN battles and collecting.
Enjoyable difficulty curve, with plenty of content to keep it on my active roster of games.
The wide soundtrack is a great tribute to the series as a whole and RPGs overall.

Trivia: I didn't took inspiration in the morden Animal Crossing with build systems since I only played the firsts ones. The Jewelry system of selling gems for different values each time was directly based in Animal Crossing Turnips.

1. Is there a way to speed up the game to make training your pokemon less slow?
2. What are the shiny odds for pokemon?

1. Put the text and bars as fast in options and hold Z/X/C during battles to skip text even faster.
2. 1/4096. 3/4096 if you have Shiny Charm.

Ive been using Jiraichi for a while and it seems like her ability Serence Grace doesnt work. Can u check if its a bug.

Edited: Oh when i take off the Power Item, It works again.

I tested with a Jirachi with Power Weight and Serene Grace is working. If you guess that this keep happening, please tell me the move and the hold item, so I will try to replicate.

I tested right now with this item and move and is working as intended with 60% of flinch chance. This may sounds obvious, but make sure that you attack first, the opponent isn't defeated with a single hit and the opponent doesn't have Inner Focus ability.
