Well, just to list a few things...
- Emerald has alot better things, the only problem
is the high crash rate...
- Pokemon Animations in battle, when they appear...
- The Emerald default tiles are different, if you look carefully...
- And those are just a few things, do your research, and
you'll see how good Emerald is.:D

But people please help us with this hack we are looking for a mapper and a scripter ash has already contributed (thanks!) But seen as though i hope the 1st season will be done by the end of this year I no its a long time but at the pace were going it will take that long.
Unless we get more helpers! its just me and samike now so if you'd like to help please reply

You know, if people steal YOUR map here,
other mods/members will get the thief.
It can be reconized very easily.

Instead, you should post it here, so the public
can comment about it.
 
yeah be best to post it here so we can all comment about it and mabye give some advice on how to make it better and im going to VM samike how its going because ive not heard from him in a while :/

EDIT:I also need a ow spriter just for 2 ow sprite sheets

Should be done soon, I'm switching between fixing bugs and writing my term paper. I've fixed 14 so far, if you want I'll post a list of every fixed bug when I'm done
 
that would be great so hopefully itl be done at the end of the week
 
good news samike is nearly done just fixing some bugs and a little surprise of my own to you :D

I downloaded a few roms of fire red and when I patched it with the fixed alpha only got a white screen. Just to say, all the settings on my vba are set to the needed settings.

yeah fro some reason the alpha isnt working so dont download until we find out the problem it has the white screen at the start
 
hum this is a big set back I wonder what we can do but nothing really at this point because samike is going away for the weekend sorry guys :'(
 
haha! ive done it realising that the scripts are not corrupt but just the hack ive transferred ep 1 scripts and am transferring the rest now please tell me if there are any bugs, im uploading now incase a script s corrupted, I ill re-edit this post every so often ive added the scripts

EDIT: not all of the bugs samike fixed are in this transferred one but whn he comes back he can use this IPS and hopefully fix the others and not corrupt it :D and the new EP 6 will be done soon

Hello. I tried the new patch. It's better, some bad bugs are fixed, but it still has bugs. Actually I think there will be newer patch soon, but I'd like to mention some.
The worst new bug is that when I want to go back from route 2 to route 1 the game freezes. Always. So I cannot go back.
I also managed to fix running shoes so running shoes are working properly!!! All you must do is set proper value in map header in Advance map. It's option "show name on entering" - you must set another value and try it. I know the value "07 ???" is certainly working.
Next, ugh, the music. The game is not live without it, so you should use it even in alpha. Recommended: beginning - Viridian forest, New Bark town - Viridian city, Route 1, 2 - Route theme 3.
I also noticed the weather at beginning is normal, sunny, but there should be cloudy weather. I know that causes darkening after Brock heals your pokémons, but there could be another way to fix it.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about scripting and I have few time, but if I could, I would help this game, making some things better.

And one thing I could've told earlier: It's supposed the way further from New Bark Town leads to the west (left) according to games or anime, but in your game you go from New Bark to the east (right). It's a bit strange, isn't it? I know it's too late now but it's just my opinion.
 
thanks for that and in the anime it doesnt really show which way but if you read a few posts above you samike release an alpha only to be found it was corrupt so i had to transfer the scripts I could, Ill try and move the level scripts aswell but im sure samike can fix the rest soon and if someone can fix the map connetion please tell me
