[Released] Pokémon Judgment (V2.0 available now!)

I noticed this game updated can make a list of all new wind type and sound type pokemon. Btw !making this game public was good idea it make finding bugs glitches and errors a lot faster.

I remember you from beta testing V1.0 of my game and I hope things will go a lot more smoothly compared to that period. I basically finished a few days ago, but I was still doubting to make it available. My thoughts were similar and I hope I can manage replying to several posts at the same time. My biggest fear is that other people will run in the same error as before as I still have no idea how to even approach that.

Does the freeze happen before or after the battle or maybe when Damian is moving? I would like to know more details before I can do anything about it since that didn't happen to me.

How did the starting area until the first gym go for you on the other hand? I'm curious what you think about my maps and the pacing of the story.

Now that a week has passed since I released my project, players who downloaded it should have reached pretty far. I have a few questions for those people since I can't help being curious how they think about the game.
- How far along have they made it already and which gym order did they choose? What do you think about the puzzles since I spent quite some time on those?
- I wonder how you feel about the story progress and the different characters. I'm also interested in your opinion about my maps and how they are filled in.
So far only one person contacted me, but nothing seemed wrong about the event and they haven't replied yet. You can always inform me about other issues no matter how small as everything I fix will make this better.

SMALL UPDATE!!

I want to say that I have replaced my V2.0 with a newer version, but nothing critical has come up. I recently checked out all the trainer battles to avoid repeat Pokémon in areas close by and made adjustments. The biggest change was with the rival Damian where I once copy-pasted his team, but I forgot to update the moves of his Pokémon. I also made a change in his final team at the league so there are less type duplicates when you face him in the post-game.

I'm a bit disappointed there has been not a lot of feedback after my previous post, but that's how it goes. I plan to return with my project in January after a much needed break and I hope to be fully energized for said post-game.

I would like to wish everybody a happy new year and that the community grows even more. I plan to start developing the post-game of my project this week like I intended.
The six month break I took was needed as was getting really burnt out working on it almost everyday. I would like to say to be finished by the end of this year, but self-made deadlines were a big part of the frustration. Now I want to take it more slowly and see how things play out as everything progresses. The content now will be a lot more open-ended divided by islands and I hope to finish events on them one by one.

I can't believe it is already a half year since I started with the post-game of Pokémon Judgment and I want to give you an update as I continue to develop. There are moments where I had no motivation and that is mostly with sometimes monotonous map design, but I still enjoy making events and writing scripts. I really like making the scenarios for the gym leaders and coming up with new gym puzzles as I try to make everything more coherent. I no longer have strict deadlines, but I still hope to release the full game somewhere next year and with the current pace that should work.

Update 7

Legendary random dungeons.

When you become the champion of the restricted league, you can reach the outer islands. Scattered around those are dungeons where you can find several Pokémon based on a specific type. Those have a random layout every time you enter and you can get items as you look to reach further floors. Here you meet the Remnants who are... remnants of the Outlaws who caught legendary Pokémon. You can free them from control and catch them when on the same floor on a second visit. You'll find a legendary Pokémon guarding a plate at the end and capture it to retrieve both. You can challenge gyms of the unrestricted league for Poké rides that gives you access to more dungeons. Once you have found all the plates, you'll be able to climb Mt. Alpha where the ultimate test waits for you.

Hey ho.^^

So is your game finalised till the League or do I miss something? I would love to play it.^^
The V2.0 demo goes indeed until the league and I'm currently developing the post-game. You can find a link on the second page of this thread, but there could be some bugs leftover.

Okay.^^

Thank you for your answer.^^ Now this game is on my To-Play-List. ;-)
Cool and the download is just a rar file. If you encounter a bug or something else out of place, you can always inform me here.

I can't believe it's already 2025 and I can now see the finish line of this Pokémon Judgment project even more clearly than before. I only need to map out two more main islands with gyms and events connected to them and off course the scenarios at the end of the story. I don't really have a specific date in mind on when it will be completed, but I hope I will be done by the summer and that looks realistic to me. This is one final winter update before the full release and I'm already feeling nostalgic for the journey that brought me here.

Update 8

Safari Island and more.

You have the option to enter the unrestricted league and challenge gyms in the outer islands. Those have all a different climate and gym leaders will have a test for you based on their profession. Once you earned five more badges, you can enter the Safari Island to catch Pokémon not found in Shoto. That however makes it an easy target for the Remnants, so approach their legendaries carefully. You can also explore other islands unrelated to your main quests and search for items you can use. Surf around the ocean and see what you can find even if it is big or small, it's always worth it. The old hideout of the Outlaws is hidden somewhere, so keep your eyes open and see what it has to offer. Can you conquer the second, tougher Victory Road and defeat all your opponents to reach the top?
