STORY-So what's the deal?
You are a boy/girl growing up in the town on DARKA CAPE who is about to set out on your very own journey with POKéMON. But you don't have one yet! Lucky for you, your dad's friend PROF. BACUS, had promised him to get you a POKéMON for your 16th birthday a couple years ago. This POKéMON was none other than a LUCARIO, however, PROF. BACUS was unable to get you one, but, he managed to get a RIOLU. This game takes place on the region of HOKAI (kind of a jab at GAME FREAK which names the regions after real Japanese islands, Japanese culture or Japanese word combos, this region is named after the island of Hokkaidō)

*the fin coming up out of Gallade's head is now downturned, my explanation is that it's changed from the one's in the SINNOH region.
**Actually replaced SUDOWOODO, but SUDOWOODO replaced Mawile to make BONSLY evolving possible.

• Re-vamped PETULBURG WOODS, now DARKOVA CAVERNS
• Wild POKéMON edits thru ROUTE 304+ROUTE 316 (thru ROUTE 104+116)
• FROSTINA (ROXANNE) now tougher (level 16 WEAVILE), unfortunately you still get the ROCK TOMB TM.
• Implement D/P POKéMON mostly done
• Edit POKéDEX entries for D/P POKéMON

Bugs/Glitches-Great, problems!

• You are unable to move after defeating FROSTINA and getting the badge, HOWEVER, you can still use the pause menu and I've modified the GYM to be a CAVE type, so ESCAPE ROPES can be used, it's recommended not to save in the GYM, instead use save states while in it.
• BUDEW learns WATER SPOUT instead of WATER SPORT
• Up until after you get sen up to your room to set the clock, the BOY and GIRL OW's have a glitched pallet, I don't know how to fix it and it clears up anyway.
• GIBLE's FRONT SPRITE is glitchy, pixelized at the very bottom, however, it's covered up by HP/EXP Bar's anyway.

BETA 0.1-No longer available (only through First Gym, MR. BRINEY's Cottage is blocked, little map differences for now, I've only concentrated on D/P POKéMON and moves)
BETA 0.2-In attachments (goes through to SAPPORO (DEWFORD) TOWN, includes text editing, wild POKéMON editing, MOST trainer editing, Modified maps, POKéMON menu icons, and ROUTE 305 is blocked off, along with SAPPORO CAVE, which is now in SAPPORO TOWN)
BETA 1-In attachments (goes through OLYMPIAS CITY, includes text editing, wild POKéMON, traniers edited up through ROUTE 309, FROSTINA now gives FROST BADGE and ICY WIND, TM 13, finally OLYMPIAS GYM, PIER 5 and ROUTE 310 are blocked off, for now.)

The story is good.
The maps could use some work though.
I like the idea of a riolu and d/p pokemon in it so that is a +.
but from the screenshot i can see you haven't moved the road or houses in pallet town. Thats a - .
Its pretty good overall but it needs some work.

Bad News

I was fooling around with hex editing earlier (trying to activate the National dex) when I screw up my entire hack, sadly no back-up. But it's all good, I was planning on switching it over to Emerald.

For those of you who don't like to read the first posts, or go past the first page of the scrapbox/showcase, I have updated the hack.
Updates:

• Switched rom base over to Emerald (US)
• Implemented 4th Gen attacks (no animations tho)
• Re-implemented 4th Gen poke's into Emerald

For those of you wondering why I switched over to Emerald:

• Easier to get rid of useless poke's (3rd gen) for 4th gen's, and allows 4th gen's to evolve
• Better A-Text ini's
• Better a-tack ini's
• No Sapphire Rom for me

Hey a good tip is don't use emerald. It's the most unstable of the games. Try Ruby or something.

I would use Ruby but, I can't find a good ini for a-text or a-tack, same with Sapphire, so basically I'm stuck with Emerald unless I can find someone to make the National Dex available at the start.

Unless you are really experienced with hacking, i suggest you use another rom because a small change can cause a romcrash on emerald.
Of course that can happen on every rom but it mostly happens on emerald.

Updates, and ALPHA 0.01 release.

Do note that ALPHA 0.01 basically only has the D/P POKéMON and attacks implemented so far, plus the first gym re-vamped, PETALBURG WOODS is now DARKOVA CAVERNS, and I've done text editing only through ROXANNE (FROSTINA) being defeated.

Other than that, tell me what you think.
