I'm currently restarting the Poketch implementation

Since I'm about 47,401,283 times better than I was at coding when I first did it, this should be easier and quicker, as well as cleaner and will use less space

I'll be posting update screenies and the like also, so stay tuned

47,401,283 times better is a lot! 8)
Good luck with it, waiting for updates C:

In all my years of hacking I've never seen a glitch quite like this one:

Yeah, just fix it the way I taught you. It's been an uphill battle in teaching you everything I know GoGo, but from the looks of that glitch I still have a lot more to teach you about.

Nice trolly way to claim my knowledge as the result of your teachings

Anyhoozle, diegoisawesome helped me fix it lol

How are we going to access the Poketch menu with only one screen?

You press L or R while on the overworld and this will pop up

You press B (in any app's main function) to return

And one final update for the night:

Press A to flip and get a random side of the coin!

I'd also like to announce that I have moved the banner images to our site, so update your signatures to point to the new image URLs if you wish

Do you plan on inducing all apps? I think the drawing app would be hard to use without touch controls. lol

I don't plan to have all apps exactly as they are on the bottom screen, I'll include alternatives or just nerf the functions

Platinum Blue has custom Poketch apps though (I take suggestions too)

Maybe an EV training app. I dunno how it would work but keeping it as simple as possible is probably a good idea.

I don't really think one of those is a good idea in Pokemon at all. It makes it too easy and is not really fun
Plus doing something like that requires it to become complicated

WOW this was hands down one of the best hacks i've played

Thank you lol

Whoo!

Different color schemes now work (all I have to do is include the color change app now)
Backlight also works with the color scheme!

(oh, and I didn't mention earlier that the poketch skin itself changes based on your gender in-game)

Really? I think it also gets pretty boring when the only ones who can play competitively are people who only play Pokémon because they don't have time to play anything else. I probably wont care, as I wont be linking up with someone but I find it really handy in the newer games. I'd look at the app more as keeping track of it, at least. Seeing how much progress you've made but not helping you with the actual training. That's just my opinion of course. :)

That's an interesting view. Though I generally don't think EV training in hacks is necessary (since, for the most part, people stop playing hacks once they end), with a DPP hack where there's a postgame I can see the merit. As for an app, whether it's to keep track of EVs or to actively train them, I think it's a good idea.

After all, the games are already pretty easy via standard play and things like the Super Training from XY/ORAS are godsends that break up the tedium of EV training, both in gaining EVs and keeping track of them. I'm not really advocating for an app here, but I'd just say that it opens up EV training for those that see it as inherently boring in nature or...heck, just want to see their Pokemon's EVs without being given a vague description by some NPC.

I believe an EV viewer would be OK, but nothing that'd increase the values

With that in mind, did you provide a way to increase values more easily?

'Cause without hordes, the Wings, or Super Training, I can't really see EV training being an attractive option. Again, not really a big issue- this hack isn't competitive so it's no real loss, and I doubt most people (myself included) don't even mind.
