Also, I am willing to wait as long as I have to to be able to play this. This is pure amazingness. I am now also wondering if a BW/2/XY demake would be possible.

The room is actually a 3d model surrounded by black (In regular platinum) so the borders are black. Same here, but 2d.

BW yes as of now
BW2 yes
XY not for a while
The reasons are because of our current knowledge. For example in XY you can move in all 8 directions. FR has code for this, but it's unused and idk how to use it (assuming it even works at all with tile behaviors)
Small things like that can get us :P

Think: If 99% of people that said "I'm gonna make a dp demake" had quit, then These will take some seriously serious people and take tons of time and effort. Not to mention that they'd have to use custom tiles since the 3ds is far from being emulated normally.
Also, lol @ waiting for platinum red
 
Currently _Nex_ Creator of FireRed NDS Style, was viewing this thread, wonder you guys "May" end up discussing how hard was converting DS into GBA. ^_^

Keep it up ;) Tho it sucks GBA can only get 16 color imagine fi it could do more>:)

NDS still had 16 color palettes :D
I think 3ds too (since the pokemon are still 16 color)
