"Pokémon Ranger and the Kidnapped Riolu"(Part 2 of 2) Episode Discussion

J was soo serious about gettinh the money XD
There were tons of Pokemon that finally had a cameo out of a long time!^^
Yay Blastoise and T-Tar! Soluna is back! :D heehee Trapinch was cute =3
 
Yeah, some Hunter J highlights for me is when she almost severs Ash in half with that ginormous pokemon of hers, and when she used Flamethrower on the forest for the umpteenth time to burn Ash alive! Whoa! I wish TR were still like that. Wasn't there an episode where they tortured Ash with a device that made him feel his Pokemon's pain? Why don't they do stuff like that again?
 
Sinnoh is sure giving us some badass villains, Hunter J and Team Galactic :p

I hope Hunter J's in alot more, I want to know what the mission she was referring to at the end was now!

Anyway...

- =0 She got Riolu!
- Blastoise!
- Aww, Team Rocket's pitfalls got flooded... XD @ the Wobuffet moment
- Chimchar uses Dig to get away, smart idea.
- Ash ask's, when seeing J's ship, "What's that?"... He's seen it before I'm sure...
- Drapion's actually trying to KILL Ash! Wow...
- He kicks it! Pokemon violence!!!
- What a coincidence the ranger on a Staraptor is was there...
- Where are all these wild Pokemon coming from?! We hardly see any in the normal episodes...
- She leaves with the money and leaves the others to their battle... She really is evil!
- Loving the music...
- Again, where did this Trapinch come from?!
- Team Rocket XD
- That ending happened quick...

Overall, loved the Ranger episodes. 9/10

Also, is it me or does it look like J has a bit of Aura? When Ash was shouting for Riolu I would say J was already too high in the sky and far away for her to actually hear Ash shouting. Did she hear him through Aura when he was contacting Riolu? Hmm...
 
Well, well, well. I love this.

-J is trying to kill Ash.
Now tell me, how many people have actually tried to kill him? None. That makes J special.

How can a person enter a hole? It is so small and miniscule. Maybe Ash is Mary Poppins.

Third time already. That is so cool.

yeah, a great two parter, if they made more episodes like these it'd be a much more interesting show.

J is the best (or worst?) baddie they've ever had, pure evil, gotta love it, makes team rocket look like such clowns (even more then they do regularly)

and i always love seeing random pokes like trapinch and t-tar in an episode, i hate it when theres only one wild poke for an entire episode

so yeah! two thumbs up!
 
oh man i wished riolu went with ash

they were such good friends
 
For me, the beginning of the episode was a little disappointing. The end of the first part made me think "Epic Battle!" Silly Ash justs runs away...

Otherwise, everyone else covered everything I was gonna say.

Just watched it now on the tube, its brilliant! Great to see Jay actually wins in a way in getting the money and theres a nice danger side to it. Also, I loved the way the ranger guy was getting all those wild pokes- it was great to see so many wild pokes in an episode :)
 
Ash's team is full so in no way he'll get Riolu people. That is more wishful thinking than anything else. It's obvious he has Gligar to evolve it to Gliscor in order to promote Platinum.

Did anyone else like Staraptor's Japanese voice more than Staraptor's English voice?
 
It's hard not to like Japanese voices more, the dub voices always just say their name over and over...if it's small, it's squeeky, big it has a deep voice. The only good voices PUSA have are Chimchar and Croagunk (whose Japanese voice was just so great anyway it makes the dub's voice look bad, but if you haven't heard his Japanese voice then it's great)

Staraptor had one of the worst voices in this episode, along with Golem.

Yea Croagunk has a good voice, probably one of the best. I have always been kind of irritated that they just say their name, it would be great if they would subtitle what they are saying.

Will it kill Ash to send the riolu after it hatched back to the professor back home in Pallet Town? Besides he did it to phanphy before...and aipom too...
