What abilities and stats will the johto mega starters have?

I haven't thought about it a lot yet, but I was thinking meganium will have pixilate so it can have some fairy moves.

I just tested it myself and got a Sneasler with the same method.

Valid point, easy battles provide little engagement. I had to level up my mons like 3-4 levels each, dragon dance the fuck out of my flygon while his pokemon was taking one hit KOs and just pray that flygon was fast enough and had enough HP to survive. Rival's pokemon literally didn't hit a single move before being one shot.
Similar vibe with the dad, his pokemon during double battles sucked ASS hahah I would have rather just fought by myself with my 6 pokemon xD

Yeah, I don't know why, but they AI gets a little stupid sometimes. In most of the tougher battles, it's supposed to set up on the first turn, but not if it could get OHKO'd.
I find that dad likes to keep dragon dancing even though he literally has a magnezone or something in front of him about to take him out.
I might remove the "set up first turn" AI from the multi double battles and see if it helps.

I cannot beat this game even in a casual play through. I am up to the Ecruteak Gym, and I need to train up different mons, but the wild Pokemon only give ~100 exp. Is there a way to get a lucky egg or something to increase exp gain?

Although it doesn't help you now, I've made the Lucky Egg available pretty early in 1.3.

Loved the main story start to finish honestly Sloo, couldn't quite work out the Sneasler evolution for some reason. But either way i still loved the team I came out with.

This is just a complete guess, but could it be the emulator you're using? I have no idea whether that would even have anything to even do with the problem but I'd thought I'd put it out there.

Been enjoying this the past couple days. My only 'concerns' (which is a strong word but couldnt think of another) is I wish it was easier to EV train and I wish there were certain moves I could get. My Infernape is stuck with Flame Wheel. Wish I could give him Fire and Thunder Punch.

Is there a way of accessing Kanto region? As far as I'm aware I've done all key events (Beat champion 2nd time, did all post game, caught all legendaries) but the guard in Indigo Plateau still doesn't allow me to pass him.

No, just surf. There's some grass in that section you can reach without waterfall.

Thank you so much for such a great game! I just completed all battles and caught all legendary related to the story. I'm so happy with my experience. The only things that I did want were more moves to pick from for some pokemon, and honestly a Team Phoenix Leader battle by herself (don't want to say her name for spoiler purposes).

I'd like to see what her whole team turned out to be; I thought something like Hydreigon, Honchkrow, Vileplume, Arbok, H. Lilligant, and Tyranitar as the mega.

im on version 1.2.0 of the spiritualized GBA core... guess ill try adding mGba hopefullyl 3rd times the charm 😅. I had an adamant technician scizor on the second run and an adamant guts larvitar on the first run... heres to the next star of the run.. thanks for responding so quickly! btw, does dunsparce evolve in scorching silver?

Still not sure what the issue is with this gym leader. Did it crash on Toxtricity for you? That's where it crashed for Sacred.
I thought it might be one of it's moves, but Overdrive, and Boomburst seem to work fine for me.

Using iron, carbos, zinc, etc. will raise happiness quickly, also the groomer in Goldenrod will help.

Okay so go underwater, keep going past the underwater cave up to the top left spot with light shining down and go in the cave on that island. Jump over the first ledge you see in the cave(on your screen it'll be above a ladder leading down) and then just follow that path and you should find it pretty easily

For typhlosion I was thinking of mold breaker, intimidate, or magic bounce and give it dark pulse for stab. For feraligatr I was thinking of strong jaw or tough claws, if you are going to do strong jaw then make the fang moves 100% accuracy because I have no idea why it is not because it only has 65 bp.
