still stuggling with this :(, currently have the yamask at 26HP with a max HP of 117, i saw the Max HP - Current HP thing but i dont think its working.
 
is there something I'm missing to get past this? Or am I missing a story beat? Last thing I did was battle in kizu Forest, Oliver, said "let's go after them" and I didn't know where to go next, so I just began to head towardsthe cities I haven't reached yet. The rage resort is blocked off as well

If you're where I think you, you have to beat Gym #7 and then when that's done, you'll be given an item that allows you to go towards where the Lake of Rage is. Explore and ye shall see :)

I believe the Sudowoodo has to be holding a Rock Incense. You can buy them in the 5th floor of the Goldenrod Dept. store.

Yeah, you still have a lot of story.
If you found the 7th gym leader in Ice Path, you can battle her. After that you can go to the Rage Resort.

i see that youve responded to other posts since, really want to keep playing this cool rom hack but i cant use this yamask due to it being super under statted :( please help @Sloo

I have another question if that's okay, since it's not a spoiler I think I'll post it without spoilers.

Do you plan on making custom sprites for all trainers eventually? (Yougster, Lass, etc.) As I said before, the difference in quality was noticeable...

PS: Today, I decided to do a little replay before the mega update and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the plot was made with the male protagonist in mind more than the female protagonist, right? (I may very well be overthinking it too)


It's just that I decided to choose the girl this time and I had the impression that some dialogues seemed to fit the boy better. (Again, I might be overthinking it)
 
Does anyone know if there's a move tutor or something of the sort that teaches Dragon Pulse? I was trying to either teach it to my Milotic or Duraludon.

Also Focus Blast for my Alakazam is another question I have, as I just don't like that both Milotic and Alakazam have Hidden Power as a move, I'd like to delete it for one of them if not both.

The patch where I fixed yamask was re-uploaded on July 3rd. If the patch you have is from before that, then yamask will not evolve.

The trainer sprites didn't seem that different to me. I mainly changed some of the really outdated looking sprites, and added some new ones.
Also, that's funny, I pretty much only use the female character myself.

Hmm, don't think so.
 
The Move Relearner in Ecrueteak City don't have the same moves as in v1.1. Past versión I could techo Weather Ball to Pelipper, Earth Power to Typhlosion and the elemental fango to Luxray. In v1.2 I can't. Is this intentional? I thought that getting to Pokemon League would somehow unlock new moves...but it didn't.
 
Well if there's no way for my Milotic to learn Dragon Pulse without breeding, is there at least a Tower Tycoon at the Battle Tower?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the game! Just finished the first interaction with Jirachi. So I had asked about the Tower Tycoon to see if there's anymore "boss" battles other than postgame story and postgame Elite 4 rematch? As I didn't really intend to legendary hunt except for the ones important to the story, so again was looking for a reason to do the Battle Tower, such as it is with the mainline games of battling 7 trainers 3 times in order to battle a gym leader like character.

Oh no, the problem wasn't really the pronoun, it was more the nature of the dialogue as a whole, like the opening scene of Shane guiding you to New Bark.

Like, as a boy, I even understood that he was telling me that girls don't like that kind of guy and that I shouldn't become him if I want attention from girls. But as a girl, I didn't understand why he told me that.


Is she supposed to want attention from girls?


Again, I may be overthinking it. (Maybe I should understand the world of girls better to give a better opinion)

PS: About sprites, not all have been updated, Youngster, Lass, Bug Catcher, fisherman still have classic Emerald sprites, but then there is a Hex Maniac with a higher quality sprite.

Is the Berry Blender accessible prior to the Olivine gym? If so, where? I'm trying to get a good Sandile for the gym but it seems that every mon in the sandstorm zone of the Safari is Modest no matter what.
 
For the Starter Megas, I think you should go with Custom Sloo Mega Sprites aside from the Meganium one, which kind of looks depressing. Mega Meganium should definetly also be Fairy typed to give it some niche and have all the starters gain an extra dual type.

So overall, Typhlosion and Feraligatr from the new sprites and Meganium from the deviant art one.

What are the parameters to evolve Yamato?
 
Hii just wanted to pop back in and say the elite 4 is brutally fun and I'm finding the difficulty curve of this game very challenging without feeling unfair. Cheers for your work Sloo!

I downloaded the game in its entirety on the 17th of this month, so i think it is the right patch, how can i check the version? on the title it says V1.2 but unsure if thats the right one.
