FireRed hack: Pokémon Stardrop Version [Alpha 1 released]

Hey, I'm kinda new to playing hacks, but usually the roms let me do the in-game save. Is there any reason why this one does not?

the background of your title page is white and the text also happens to be very light. This makes it near impossible to read as there is very little contrast between the surroundings and text. I suggest you make one of the two a darker color.
 
Im sorry but Ive talked to almost every hiker and have done everything I could but for some reason I still have no clue on what to do for the hiker. I also am not sure as to which hiker I need to be talking to, unless its the one with the fossils? Im still so lost
