  • pokemon fandom has always been a fucking nightmare and ungrateful af honestly but this is definitely the lowest i've seen it at too. making shit up bc they're unhappy with things is beyond ruthless. be mad all you want, don't buy the games, literally your prerogative, but like. good christ who pissed in these peoples wheaties

    Please keep your discussion about games being cancelled to the other thread and keep on topic here.

    This thread is for discussing the fandom reaction to the announcement and general hype about the games since it (particularly in the context of the video for the announcement itself), rather than if the games have a chance to be cancelled or not.

    AFAIK the 'rape allegation' thing was made by one person via a fake/new twitter account (and to the average person should stick out as very fake). Doesn't excuse them, but it's very much an extreme example that unfortunately (and imo shouldn't) tar the whole fandom. It certainly is one of the worse examples the fandom has showcased overall, but that sort of thing is an exception rather than the norm.
