Pokémon that could use an extra Ability

You know the ones: they have a single regular Ability, perhaps even no Hidden Ability, and could use a little extra trick up their sleeve - kind of like Pelipper before getting Drizzle, or Torkoal with Drought.

This is especially good for making previously very restricted or signature Abilities more accessible, like with terrain setting Surges becoming available as Hidden Abilities in Gen 8. This treatment could give both a seldom-seen Ability and an overseen Pokémon a new breath of life.

What are some of your ideas for that?

    My first nominations would be:
    • Queenly Majesty as a second Ability for Vespiquen. Very motif-fitting and might give it some neat uses (say, bulky Trick Room supporter?). Combee can get Swarm as their part of the added Ability.
    • Grassy Surge as a second Ability for Florges. Another great motif fit and an option for a singles-usable Florges (all of her other Abilities are very Doubles-oriented). It could make her a really cool Pokémon to use, powering up the plethora of Grass-type moves she learns and providing even more support to Grass-type partners. Also, if given a Grassy Seed Florges gets an automatic defence boost, and with Florges's base 554 stats, she becomes a nasty tank (now if only she learned Mystical Fire for those annoying Steel-types...).
    • Sand Stream as a second Ability for Flygon. I mean, it's in all the Pokédex entries!
    • Sand Force replacing Keen Eye as Midnigh Form Lycanroc's first Ability. This parallels (and reverses) Midday Lycanroc keeping Rockruff's first Ability Keen Eye, but switching up the second one for Sand Rush. Sand Force could do with another non-mega, non-hidden user (Only the Drilbur line so far), and Midnight Lycanroc could really use the extra muscle to help better match its fellow forms in usefulness.
    • Psychic Surge as a second Ability for Claydol, in pretty much the same vein as Weezing's Misty Surge. No special ideas, just thought it could use a new toy, and the players could use a new option for terrain setting.
    • Misty Terrain as a second Ability for Aromatisse, with similar logic as above.

Maybe Gorilla Tactics for Rillaboom (Rather than Grassy Surge),Slaking(maybe lower it's stats if they gave him this ability because it might be to op)
    And lastly maybe even Zarude.

    1. Berserk as a secondary Ability for both Salamence and Tyranitar. Both Pokémon are prone to violent outbursts, are quite beastly, and would definitely benefit from an Ability that can help their special offenses.

    2. Chlorophyll as the second Ability of Lurantis. Plant Pokémon primarily tend to have Chlorophyll as their main, or sometimes hidden Ability. Lurantis would benefit from this Ability in Drought/Sunny Day Teams, provided it gets a boost in base Speed at some point.

    3. No Guard as the secondary Ability for Dragonite. It has a lot of powerful moves with rather low accuracy, and it would help with it's sweeping prowess profoundly.

Iron Fist as a second Ability for Dusknoir would make perfect sense, given that it has big hands and can learn various moves that the Ability boosts the power of.

Whimsicott already has good abilities, but it should really have Cotton Down or Fluffy as an option. Floatzel should have Propeller Tail too, cause it fits.

How about weather and terrain setting as second abilities for the Eeveelutions? Both to buff the Pokémon and to maybe make these important abilities less exclusive, containing them compactly into one evolutionary line. Namely:
    • Drizzle for Vaporeon
    • Electric Surge for Jolteon
    • Drought for Flaroen
    • Psychic Surge for Espeon
    • Grassy Surge for Leafeon
    • Snow Warning for Glaceon
    • Misty Surge for Sylveon
Umbreon can get, say, Intimidate as a similarly competitive and appropriate second ability.

I would trade Slaking's Truant for Defeatist, because it has a healing move with Slack Off it could actually work with this ability.

Or maybe even Rivalry. It's not completely broken and it looks sort of fitting.

Just anything is better than truant 🙁

Hmm, although I would also give Mewtwo defiant, considering it's origin.
