Tommy smiled and laughed,

"Hahaha, I never brought up the subject." Tommy laughed.

"Haha, is that what you've been walking around thinking about?" Tommy laughs continued,

"Just askin' how you doin. You do have feelings too, don't yah?" Tommy asked laughing.

Just then Jake brought out a box,

"What's that?" Tommy asked calming down from the laughter.

(Actualy, I needed an excuse to make my post longer.)

Ruby blushes lightly. "I'm not saying that, I'm... never mind."

This time, it was Luther's turn to laugh. Though it was more of a chuckle than a hearty laugh.

"Isn't it obvious? It's a box! What we should be asking is what's inside. So, mister, what's in the box?"

Jake opens the case. Inside, there are many identical silver badges with a moon symbol. Jake says simply: "I'm a gym leader."

"... what?" Tommy asked puzzled.

He looked at Luther, then Ruby, then back at Jake again.

"... what?" Tommy asked again.

Jake kind of figured on the shocked reaction "Yes, I'm the Gym Leader of Redwood City. But... I am appointed to soon have a job back in Sootopolis. A very important job. When I turn 18, I'm to become the guardian or the Cave of Origin. I need to figure out how to have a job in Hoenn and a job in Johto at the same time. So far, it seems impossible, but for now, there are more important problems at hand." He is referring to the glitch. "So, Tommy... what did you find out?"

Luther was excited about having a Gym Leader in the group. Still, now was not the time to discuss it. He agreed with Jake, that there was a more pressing matter to attend to. The white-cloaked trainer crossed his arms, along with his Dragonite, ready for Tommy to say something.

"I'm all ears, kid."

"Oh I knew that!" Tommy said with a smirk,

Jake looked at him,

"...not! Hahaha!" Tommy laughed.

"What's up with all of this glitch business? Listen all I did was go to the library and fish up some articles about crazy wild pokemon. That's it!.. And something about a crazy ancient myth about the end of the world but I don't wanna bore you guys..." Tommy said with his voice trailing off.

Jake then tells Tommy darkly: "It seemed insignificant at the time, didn't it? And yet, those articles and that myth are directly relevant to the current situation. Please, tell us anything that may have meaning."

Luther had never been so excited. Except for that one time his mother bought him an enormous chocolate cake for his birthday, as Luther loved few things more than chocolate cake. But this was something else entirely.

"End of the world? Boring? Are you nuts!? All ancient myths and legends must be investigated by amateur heroes like us. It's like an unwritten rule or something!" His excitement was getting to him. "And just think of how big my fanclub would be if I ended up saving the world!"

"Did you find anything usefull?" Rain asks, comming up to the group.

"Your using this as an excuse to boost your ego? This is serious, my organization is devoted to protecting the world from this glitch, and all you can think of is your fan club," Rain shouts at Luther

Tommy sighed,

"Okay fine, if you guys insist, here it goes. I was able to hack into the government's database and found some sort of log of some ruin maniac. Apparently he found some sort of lost city with a temple in the middle of the Congo with drawings of some crazy sphere thing that is said to be cursed and bring the end of the world. It also mentioned something about how it can spread its influence through people and pokemon.... I know, very boring." Tommy said with another sigh.

"Don't even get me started with the translated inscription with the pictures..."

Jake grins at Tommy: "No, not boring at all. Actually, just what we were looking for." When he looks around and sees Rain, he remembers the e-Mail. He asks Rain, "Did you get a message on your Pokenav from someone named Demonta?"

"Not really," Rain says. "I find it rather interesting, I guess its because of my upbringing."

"Yes I did, actualy, I was wondering about that," Rain says.

Jake now looks coldly at Luther. "Rain's right, you know. This is a serious crisis. A silent crisis..." Then he turns to Rain. "I know Demonta. He lives... or lived... in Sootopolis City. Wallace is his adopted father or something. He always watched the gym battles. He must have left on a journey or something, if he needs advice."

Luther's excitement continued to rise, though he tried to hide it. Rain and Jake didn't seem to like his enthusiasm, for some reason. After all, wouldn't anyone like to have some kind of reward for saving the world?

"Mind filling us in on what that thing says?" He asked Tommy. "Just for the sake of conversation, of course."

"It might be important," Rain says.

Tommy grunted,

"Augh... fine... it said something like a valley will be made underground with the earth shaking and like the thing will use devices of knowledge against us and it will be like a "glitch" and that it would look like us or something. But then it was cut off, the rest was never revealed on the document. And I have no idea what any of it means." Tommy said.

"Oh yeah, one of the articles said that the unknown flu that is affecting wild pokemon first started somewhere in Cerulean City, dunno where." Tommy added.
