"Well... should our next stop be Sootopolis City?" Jake asks. It seems that this is all the information they can get out of Blackthorn City. "I've sort of got an all-access pass... except getting in." Why didn't I get a Sharpedo? "My hometown has a large history of legends, much like this one. A lot of legends. We're sure to find at least something there." He thinks over what Tommy said. "Cerulean City, now, seems that it might be the source, but it seems like a very dangerous area now. Let's try to get information first."
 
"My Kingdra and Milotic can get us in," Rain says.
 
Jake now remembers something. "We should hang on for Mace, just for a little while. He ran off after he was in the gym, and he might be coming back soon."
 
"Alright, then let's go to Sootopolis!" Luther yelled, as he ran off in a random direction. A few moments later, he ran back.

"...Remind me not to go anywhere if I don't know where I'm actually going. I'll just follow you guys." He said, sheepishly.
 
"Maybe we should leave him," Ruby whispers to Rain.

"He'll probably just follow us," Rain replies.
 
Jake makes up his mind. "We'll leave for Sootopolis now. I'll leave a note here for Mace when he gets back so he can come. He can ride his Flygon. I'll ride with Rain. I know the way there." Then he whispers to Rain and Ruby, "lay off Luther. I know he's sort of self-obsessed, but I'd guess we'll need all the help we can get." Jake announces to the whole group, "make your arrangements for who you're flying with." What arrangements? There are four of us and I'm already going with Rain. "We'll go as soon as everyone is ready."
 
Tommy pulled out his Town Map,

"Well let's see here. We are here." Tommy said pointing to Blackthorn City on the map.

"I bet if we keep on heading east we should be at the coastline of Johto and be on our way to Hoenn..." Tommy said, he then tilted his head and turned the map upways, he had it upside down again,

"My Bad, heh, maybe if we head west?" Tommy asked as he flipped the map again.

"Hmm.. wait, we could head north and follow the lunar pattern in the night sky.." Tommy said.

Tommy is bad in directions, very bad. He has no idea how to read maps or for that matter get to Hoenn.
 
Jake looks at Tommy, who seems quite embarassed. "Tommy, my Pokenav has a GPS map in it, so we can tell where we are by it. Sootopolis is east/southeast of Blackthorn City. There are two ways in: one is the crater at the top, as the city is built inside a dormant volcano. The other way is to dive underwater and use an underwater cave to get in. Don't even try to climb the outside, okay? You can't. It won't work. Understood? Fly or dive. South/southeast."
 
"I'm ready when you guys are. And gals. And pokemon." Luther said excitedly. He hopped onto his Dragonite, and waited.
 
"Or, you could just follow me, I've been to Sootopolis City a few times," Rain says.
 
"Well then," Jake said, climbing aboard Ruby, "let's go!"
 
"Alright, alright, have it your way!" Tommy said putting his map away.

"Well if your gonna fly with Rain then I guess I'll get a lift with Luther." Tommy said as he jumped on Luther's Dragonite.

Tommy looked at Luther and sat as far as possible from him,

"This is very akward." Tommy replied.

"Just get us there to whatever city Jake says we should get to." Tommy said pretending he is not flying with Luther.
 
Jake calls to everyone. "Well, we better get going now!"
 
Rain climbs on Ruby's back, and they take off.
 
With an idea of what the glitch may actually be and without any hesitation, a handful of Pokemon Trainers make their way to Sootopolis City in the Hoenn region. Sootopolis City is known to be a famous underwater city found within an extinct volcano. What makes the Water City so important is the fact that it houses the Cave of Origin which is where all life is said to be created. What lies hidden within the City? And what will become of our heroes?

After a long journey from the Johto region to the Hoenn region, the group finally makes it even after flying in a heavy Thunder Storm.

Ruby with Rain and Jake lands followed closely by Luther's Dragonite holding Luther and Tommy.

"That was some storm, I didn't think we were gonna make it in one piece." Tommy said jumping off the Dragonite.

"So this is the great Soot-something- City, huh?" Tommy said, forgetting the name of the city again.
 
"Sootopolis," Rain says, trying to squeeze the rainwater out of her hair. "Can we check the weather forecast first next time?"
 
After another discussion with Wallace, he suggests that I should go and fight the Celadon gym, with my fire and psychic pokemons, it should not be much of a problem...

Though this trip is delayed, because Wallace today got a gym chalange with Steven, the only person I look up to.

Just before the gym battle, I chat with Steven again, he has trained very hard since the meeting before in granite cave. In his team now, he owns a Aggron and a Skamory, both very strong. I tell his that my Lairon is doing well and is enjoying his time with me.

Just for fun, he has a quick 1on1 battle with me. I use my Houndour and he uses his Skarmory.

Skarmory uses Double team.

Houndour seems dazed, he looks around himself to find he is surrounded!

Suddenly the whole circle of Skarmories light up and one of the skarmories behind him blast a powerful blinding and deadly beam right to the back of houndour.

Despite Houndour trying to dodge it, the blast throws him and slams him to the ground.

Houndour fainted.

I guess a lot more work is still needed. I help Houndour get back up, he still seems keen to fight but he is too tired. I thank Steven for the match...

The match is due! I sit down in the Arena along with 2000 other spectaters watching the match.

Wallace sends out his Lapras and Steven sends out his Skarmory.

Wallace's Lapras was eventually defeated. I am not sure to be happy or unhappy...
 
Back at Blackthorn after about 30 minutes a figure heads toward Mace. It is a Dragonite with a trainer on it. The trainer gets off... it was Lance.

"Brother.." Mace says calmly.

"You're afriad to say my name?" Lance taunts.

"I called you to tell you two things." Mace explained. "One, is to warn you about a virus. Secondly you're not the dragon master."

"You waste my time." Lance says as Mace leaves.

Later Mace finds a note from Jake. "To soottopolis." Macesays to himslef as he sends out Glider.
 
Rain stops by the Gym for the heck of it, and notices the battle going on. "Interesting, I'll have to see how this turns out," she says to herself.
 
Jake turns to the rest of the group. "Sorry, I need to go run my own errands. Houndoom, go!" Houndoom looks happy to be home. "Yeah, I know, you've been wanting to see Dad again, huh Houndoom. But I need to discuss some things with him this time." Jake takes off on Sootopolis City's winding route to the Cave of Origin.
