That's it! Demonta was the guy who was always at the gym back at Sootopolis City! But, why did he have a mail from him asking for advice? Advice for what?
Jake heads for the gym since apparently everyone had went there. Really, why couldn't I get a Pokemon big enough to ride? Gah... When he's almost there, he sees Mace storm out of the gym and run right past everyone else. He gets there with Rain, Ruby, Tommy, and Luther, and begins to speak. "Hey guys. I just walked over from the Ice Path. I got this weird E-mail on my Pokenav, asking for advice. Did anyone else get it?" And thanks for taking off for the gym without me. "So, what exactly are we doing now? Does anyone have news?"
Jake sighs. "Oh. Well, maybe I'll get another mail from him... And Tommy, what are you so jumpy about?" Jake is rather comfortable around these guys now.
Jake looks at him oddly. "Okay... right... sure..." He then decides that at this time, he might as well show Tommy the Redwood City badge case. He takes the black box out of a pocket in his robe...
Luther was a bit stunned by Ruby's comment. He blinked once. Twice. Three times.
"...Did I miss something? Because I think I did. Would one of you mind explaining what Ruby's talking about?" He asked, in a confused tone. He tilted his head to one side, and his Dragonite followed suit.
Jake is quite annoyed. "Why is everyone ignoring my presence?" Jake considers waving the box around frantically, but thinks better of it. "Ah, forget it. Besides, I can tell just by little 'hints' that there is one here who knows something more than the rest." He glances towards Tommy. "Don't try to hide it. What have you found out?" He forgets to put the box away, and is obviously just holding it where everyone can see it.
