"Our buddy Jake arrived, mentioning something about the Cave of Origin, and everyone ran off. I say we go have a look! In a worst case scenario, it'll make for some good excercise," Luther replied enthusiastically.

(I hate overly enthusiastic people.)

Tommy nodded and both left for the cave. Tommy followed Luther and in the unusual empty streets of the city. They soon enough found the cave guarded by a man. He seemed to let them pass, possibly because he thought they were with Jake. In a short while they caught up with Jake, Rain and Ruby.

"Hey guys!" Tommy said moving in place still trying to get the soreness out of him,

"I feel like I got hit by a truck." He told everyone.

"More like a gust of wind, actualy," Rain says.

Jake heads deeper into the Cave of Origin, following the path of the swirling mist coming from the depths of the cave. Jake begins to feel somewhat lightheaded. He wills himself to go on, he can't afford to stop... what was it that Tommy said? Something about Cerulean City? Was he hiding something important? NO! Now's not the time to think about that. Focus on getting into the cave...

"Well what happened? I don't remember anything. I got a bad headache and then I found myself on the ground in pain." Tommy explained.

"Luther told me that you two were there. So umm, what happened to me?" Tommy asked.

Rain was visably worried, she had seen that Tommy was infected with the virus, but she wasn't sure if it was contagious.

"Well, you where infected with the virus, and you attacked me and Ruby, some gust of wind came in and blew you down, knocking you out," Rain says.

Jake hears the voices of the others swirling in his head. What is happening? His thoughts are swirling like the mist in the cave. Jake looks around, dazed, and sees the hole in the ground, blurred up like he was seeing through wet glasses... Jake dizzily stumbles down the ladder to the next section of the cave...

Tommy stood there shocked,

"Man... oh man, oh man." Tommy said surprised.

"I am so sorry. Did I hurt any of you? Are you and Ruby okay?" Tommy asked checking them if they were hurt.

He then tilted his head,

"Virus? What virus? Do you guys honestly believe in that mumbo-jumbo nonsense?" Tommy asked.

"It's probably some dumb flu infecting wild pokemon." Tommy explained.

"Being part of a secret society has a few advantages," Rain says. "Like learning to be an expert hacker, I found the information, including a list of the symptoms, and, well, you where exibiting them. Listen, the majority of the cases are situated around this city, which means something is going on here."

"Ack" Jake mumbles as he gets up. I must've fallen off of the ladder. As he looks around, everything looks clearer, like a safe spot in the cave. He decides to rest here until his head clears. Then he realizes that the others are apparently still on the entrance level. "Hello? Guys?" Jake calls out, hoping to get them to follow them further. "Come on, I'm down here! Guys? Come on!"

Rain and Ruby go down the ladder next.

Tommy laughed hysterically,

"Hahahaha! If you're a hacker then I'm a monkey's uncle! Hahahahaha!" Tommy laughed,

"Hehehe, Okay, okay, if you're such an expert hacker then what are we doing here in this place?" Tommy laughed.

"I forgot to mention a small detail, the source of the virus is not here, but, in some unknown cave in Cerulean City. What's the matter? You're amazing hacking skills didn't pick that one up?" Tommy asked laughing.

What he says is true though. Most cases may be in this city, but the source of the said virus is somewhere hidden in Cerulean City of the Kanto region.

Tommy, the kind hearted and a bit oblivious boy that the group immediately attached to and befriended started to fade away as anger began to consume the poor soul. What is wrong with Tommy exactly? Has the virus really get him?

Tommy soon stopped himself and realized hes been acting like a jerk,

"Listen.. I'm sorry. Look, I am not feeling... quite.. well.. but I did find out back at Blackthorn that this all started in Cerulean.. I mean.. I was there. Okay, there, you got me, that's what I've been hiding. I was there and let me tell you, that cave, that I've been too, is way more crazier than this place." Tommy explained.

He fell to his knees and got extremely sad,

"I.. didn't... wanna *sniff* wanna tell you... guys, cuz'.. you guys*sniff* may of gotten... hur- hurt. Please forgive me!" Tommy explained himself.

He is trying to fight the virus on his own.

Rain is fighting the urge to slap Tommy on the face. "Your lucky I have a policy against hitting crazy people."

Jake looks deeper in the cave, and begins to have a strange headache. As he turns to leave, strangely enough, the headache subsides. Wha? Then... something must be there deep in the cave... Jake rushes further into the cave without a word to anyone.

"Jake dosen't know about this, does he?" Ruby asks.

Jake slows down, feeling dazed again. When he is ready to move on, he realizes something strange: This is supposed to be the last chamber! Where the cave should end, there is another passageway that seem to be spouting the strange mist. As Jake feels he is about to pass out, he bolts out of the cave as fast as he can, and doesn't stop until he is well away from the Cave of Origin.

Now and finally, I am travelling to celadon for the next gym battle, this is going to be a tough one dispite I am supereffective against leaf
