Rain runs in the direction of the Sootopolis City Library, and within moments is looking over the information on the Pokeflu, namely the symptoms.
 
Tommy started to breathe heavily as he began to stagger around the path in the city to get to the mart. Lucky for him there was no one in his way. As a matter of fact there is no one in teh city at all. It seems so empty that the only people outside are actually probably only Tommy and the others that flew to the city.

However, Tommy didn't even bother asking himself where is everyone but just continued to try and get to a mart. He couldn't walk any further by at least he was now on the other side of the city where the mat is. He sat back down leaning against a building and slowly blacked out by the headache.
 
"Oh no," Rain says, looking at the information on the spread of the virus, its hit Sootopolis. "We need to get out of here, Ruby, get together everyone!"

Ruby nods, and runs out of the library transforms into her dragon form, and flies off, finding Tommy in his current state.

"Tommy, are you okay?" She asks.
 
Tommy instantly woke up when he heard someone call out for him, he slowly got up and stared at Rain and Ruby. He did not look quite like himself. He grew angry and spontaneously attacked the two.

"GRAH!!!" He shouted as he jumped for them.
 
Ruby flies up, and oddly enough, a burst of wind surrounds Rain, and she does as well. This is weird, Rain thinks, looking down at Tommy. "Looks like your boyfriend's turned against us," she says to Ruby.

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" The dragon shouts back.
 
The burst of wind from Ruby shot Tommy back and knocked him against the wall, knocking him out cold.
 
"Should we leave him here?" Ruby asks.

"He's too much of a risk to be brought, unless we can find a way to stop the disease," Rain says, not landing yet, but that could just be because she can't.

The word ran repeatedly through Luther's mind as he scoured the city with Dragonite. "This is so cool!"

Dragonite raised its arms and cheered, celebrating along with its trainer. They continued to wander, taking in the sights. Though there wasn't much to see except the interior of the volcano. And the streets were strangely empty.

*THUD*

The noise caught Luther's attention, and startled Dragonite. "Call it a hunch, but something tells me that's not a good sound." Dragonite nodded, and almost simultaneously, the two dashed in the direction of the sound.

After travelling for a short while, they stumbled upon Rain, Ruby, and what appeared to be an unconscious Tommy. Luther raised an eyebrow.

"Eh? And what do we have here?"
 
"We had a little, problem," Rain says.
 
As Jake leaves Mace (after explaining what Tommy had said) to find the others, he stops. Something feels weird here, he thinks. He begins to run faster, and then he is stopped cold. As he looks ahead, he sees Tommy lying up against a wall. Something seems strange about him, other than that he was out cold. He sees Rain and Ruby nearby. Alarmed, he faces them. "Are you alright?" he asks, almost screams. "What happened to Tommy?"
 
"The virus got him, we need to go," Rain says.
 
Jake looks startled. "Then we need to hurry! Let's go to the cave now! I got my father to let you in! We need to hurry!" Jake began to rush down the path to the Cave of Origin, now noticing that the paths are strangely empty...
 
Rain runs after him, followed by Ruby who returns to her human form.
 
As they arrive, Jake quickly tells his dad that these were the people who needed in. The man moves out of the gate, allowing them entry. Jake quietly enters the Cave of Origin...
 
The two girls follow with a quick hello to Jake's father.
 
Jake looks around. He sends Umbreon out of its Pokeball. "Umbreon, Flash!" The cave is lit up, and Jake notices something strange:The mist inside never came this far towards the entrance! What is going on in there? Other than the swirling fog in the cave, everything else seems normal; the rocky walls, the scattered pebbles... until he notices that Umbreon looks faint. Jake has a double take, and then calls urgently, "Umbreon, return!" As Umbreon is called back, Jake wonders; Umbreon was affected so quickly. Maybe this is the source.
 
After awhile, Tommy slowly wakes up.

"What the heck happened?" He asked as he got up rubbing his head.

"Man, why do I feel like a beat up rag doll? Everything is sore." He spoke to himself as he got up.

He leaned against the wall and continued to rub his head. The headache is gone, but everything feels sore.
 
"Shoulda brought a haz-mat suit or something," Rain mutters.
 
Luther smiled as Tommy stood up.

"Let's just say it involves a pineapple, a shoe, and a talking miltank," he said as he laughed in an attempt to lighten the mood. "Or so I'd like to believe. Truth is, I have no idea. Might wanna find Rain and ask her, though. She was around when I found you."
 
"Huh? Oh right. Okay" Tommy said rubbing his head.

He began to swirl around his arms to get the soreness out of him.

"Well, where did she go?" He asked.
