Jake runs to the place where they landed in Sootopolis City, sits there gasping for a few moments, and passes out.

Rain shrugs, and heads in the direction that Jake went.

Jake begins to mumble bits and pieces of information. "Last... a door... mist... swirling... deeper... agh... end... continues... cave..." Jake continues this until shaken awake...

Rain and Ruby are standing above him, Rain is deep in thought. "Jake, what did you see down there?" she asks.

Jake mumbles. "Agh... the cave went down farther than normal... mist was coming from more passages... coming from where?... urk... Jake passed out again.

"We think he saw something in the cave," Ruby says.

Tommy got up and was still very sad. He slowly walked into the mist and vanished leaving Luther the only other person in there alone.

Tommy went deep within the Cave of Origin and was lost in the mist, consumed by it. He did not act quite like himself but more like a zombie. He stumbled and staggered back and forth as if forced to move forward into the cave.

After climbing down the ladder, Tommy began to have an even greater headache and was even more lost by the virus that infected him.

As he ventured deeper and deeper within the cave to the point where it is supposed to end there is a trainer already there who is blocking the pathway, standing there. After closer examination there seems to be a Pikachu with the trainer. They seem to be training within the cave, unaffected by the mist. They seem very powerful.

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt attack now!" The trainer said with his Pikachu zapping away at a passing Gastly.

"Good job Pikachu!" The trainer said at his winning pokemon.

Tommy went closer to the trainer and saw that he was wearing a red cap, a blue jacket, blue jeans and sneakers and on his cap he had a green symbol and the trainer himself had black hair.

"..." Tommy paused as he saw the trainer.

The trainer turned and smiled, he seems friendly,

"Hi! I'm Ash! What's you name?" The trainer asked.

Having nothing to do, and nowhere to go, Luther meandered in the direction Tommy went. He refused to leave after coming this far.

"Hi, I'm Ash!"

He heard someone call out up ahead.

Ash.

The name swam through his head; a torrent of nearly forgotten memories resurfacing with each passing second. "It couldn't be...!"

He ran in the direction of the sound. He travelled for some time, and ran into Tommy and another trainer. A trainer he recognized. The one he had been seeking for nearly a decade.

"YOU!" he screamed, pointing menacingly at the trainer known as Ash Ketchum. "For nearly 10 years, I've scoured the world searching for you. You've constantly eluded me, but I won't let you get away this time!"

He struck a dramatic pose, and his Dragonite posed in the exact same manner.

"For the glory of Lieutenant Surge, and the honor of Vermilion City, I, the great Luther Ashnard, shall strike you down where you stand! Prepare yourself for battle, infidel!"

(You just had to bring him in, didn't you?)

OOC: I thought it'd be a nice surprise for waffle since his character has been looking for Ash for a long time.

IC:

" Who? Oh yeah, that was awhile ago." Ash replied.

"Well I guess there's no way to get out of this one. Pikachu go!" Ash commanded as his Pikachu readied for battle.

While the battle is in progress, Tommy snuck passed Ash and entered the passage way...

(Well, its just that I never realy cared for him, no offense to any Ash fans here.)

Jake wakes up alone, with voices coming from the cave. How could they go alone? Jake staggers back into the Cave of Origin, with Sneasel out of its ball helping to support him. Everything looks blurry, and he can hear everyone's voices, plus one unfamiliar, but he can't understand them, as they seem to echo in his head. In the deepest normal room in the cave, he sees everyone, but they are blurred and he can't understand them. All that is in his mind is to go to the new cavern. When he enters the passage, his mind is suddenly in sharp focus again, like jumping in cold water after a dip in a hot tup. He looks around and sees many, many more cave entrances, and a deep fissure in the middle spouting the bizarre mist. He sees Tommy also in the room, and instantly wonders what everyone was saying earlier, and realizes he can't hear them anymore, as though this room was soundproof! Sneasel even looked nervous, not cocky and confident as it usually did. It was also warily observing its surroundings, and it didn't like it at all. Jake calls out, his voice returning. "T-tommy? Is... that you? Tommy?"

Mace was confused too many things were happening at once. He could not decide what to do.Mace oddly ran toward the Pokemon Canter like an idiot to sit down.

"..." Tommy did not reply or did he turn around when Jake was behind him.

The mist is gone and the headaches have ended. Vision is clear and Jake sees Tommy confused. Anyone can see that Tommy is no longer there, someone or something has taken over his body, whole.

Tommy staggers back and forth and drifts into one of the many exits in the cave to the point where he vanished.

When Tommy vanished, mist came back into the quiet and eerie chamber from all exits except one.

When Tommy exited the cave he went through he found himself in a small room with computers and high-tech equipment, some even had a symbol with a rocket on it with the letter "R" stamped on it. What was most unusual about the room is that there seemed to be some sort of device within the room, Tommy dragged his body onto the device and was zapped instantly.

In another cave somewhere far away... Tommy was zapped into the deepest and darkest chamber of the Unknown Cave somewhere around Cerulean in the Kanto region. The chamber however is different and has more of the Rocket Symbols everywhere. As a matter of fact there were even people dressed like thugs and robbers with a giant red "R" stamped on their chest and even some scientists. Everyone seemed to be working on computers and high-tech equipment that is scattered across the cave...

"Pikachu! It's part flying-type! Use your thunderbolt attack now!"

Ash yelled at Pikachu. The Pikachu responded by jumping into the air towards the Dragonite charging a powerful electric current in its red cheeks.

Mace sat dwon in the Pokemon Center. He had ran to there because he was confused and now sitting in the chair he was stressed, Scared, and still Confused.

Mace got up to return to the Cave of Orgin to try to relax while there. But for some reason he couldn't.

Jake looks around more carefully, now that the mist is gone. There are hundreds of these openings in the wall... maybe they connect to every cave in the world? As Jake looks around, he notices that the caves look slightly different from each other. One seems to be the end of a metal hall, another is iced over. The ice one must be for the Ice Path. It got frozen over, so the mist couldn't come through. Another one seems to have a little bit of water spilling out every few seconds. Shoal Cave? Most look just like regular caves... Then Jake realizes to his horror: Which one goes back to the Cave of Origin???

Luther couldn't help but laugh. He simply couldn't believe what was happening.

"After all these years, you're still using that thing? Talk about dedication!" He mused, as the Pikachu hurtled itself through the air towards his Dragonite. "You'd be wise not to underestimate your oppenent, though," Luther said with a grin.

He raised his right arm, and snapped his fingers. Responding to the signal, and without a moment of hesitation, Dragonite charged forward towards the flying rodent. It crouched, and reared back its right arm. Dragonite's right hand ignited with a weak flame, and the dragon unleashed a mighty rising slash is at stood up again. Pikachu, not having any time to dispel its stored electricity, was sent hurtling backwards through the air and landed with a soft thud at Ash's feet.

"Dragon Claw, the bone-crusing fist of the eastern wind!"

Luther posed again, reveling in his pseudo-victory.

"Gah! Pikachu!" Ash said as he bent down and picked Pikachu up.

"Don't worry Pikachu, we'll get through this." Ash said with total confidence.

Ash withdrew Pikachu from the battle and held him in his right arm, with his left he threw a pokeball out.

"Butterfree go!" Ash yelled.

A Butterfree emerged from the pokeball.

"Butterfree, Poison Powder attack now!" Ash commanded.

The Butterfree flew over the Dragonite and sprinkled its poison powder over the dragon type, poisoning it dramtically.

------------------------------

All of the thugs saw Tommy and sounded an intruder alert. However it was futile as they were all knocked out in mere seconds by the presence of him. All of the electronic and ocmputer equipment gone haywire as he gone closer by them and the computers acted glitchy and were becoming filled of errors and viruses.

The end is here. Not only is this happening in the cave but all over the world. Errors and glitches are rising in every computer worldwide. The devise that humans have used for and to gain knowledge have now turned against them. The clock is ticking and time is running out...

Jake feels a slight jolt from his belt. His Pokeballs go haywire and Umbreon and Houndoom are let out. What... just... happened? Jake thinks. As Jake begins to feel dizzy again, he orders Sneasel. "Ice Beam on the hole the mist is coming from." Sneasel blocks the fissure up with a plug of ice, but Jake knows that the pressure inside would eventually build up and break the ice. Jake doesn't know which way leads back to the Cave of Origin, so he picks an exit at random and feels as though he just had Teleport used on him. In a manner of speaking, he had. Jake found himself in the glistening, watery cavern of Meteor Falls. At least it didn't warp me too far, but I still can't get back there, Jake thinks. In a last ditch effort to warn everyone of the impending doom, Jake sends a Pokenav message to Rain: "Tommy is fully infected. The virus is coming stronger than ever. Get as far away from any caves as possible. Get out of the Cave of Origin." I hope they get the message... Jake nervously wades out of the cave and goes to Fallarbor town, hoping to loan out Pidgeot again. Then he remembers, however. Oh, no! I can't swap my Pokemon out without my Pokeballs!
