    Pokéngo is a Pokémon chat website I made using my PHP knowledge. I have been working hard on it and I would like some feedback on it :)

    This is a nice looking site, but the only thing I could say that needs just a tiny bit of improving on is maybe making the colours a little bit less harsh? and try to stick to a certain colour scheme like using colours that work well with each other or even keeping to just one colour like Light Blue for the background and then a darker blue for the text in the content area. I hope this advice isn't harsh or anything :/
    but over all, it's a well thought out site.
     
    I'm currently working on a new blue theme. It's looking great so far! Looks like it'll take a few days or a week to get done though. Any page suggestions? Preferably something that isn't a game guide so that I can get more stuffs on the navigation bar?

    Anyways, Thanks for your suggestion! I'm working extra hard to update the website to a new theme. The website will be getting alot more than just a new theme though. So this update may take a full week to complete.

    I don't like the site's design and the fact that you're using a co.cc domain.

    I see absolutely nothing special, nothing that would make me go to your site over any other. You need to add something. :\

    Well, I can tell you exactly why people are not pleased with your color scheme.

    See, the way the human eye works, it's easier for us to read dark text on a light background. Simple as that. You should honestly never go against that.
     
    Or really light text on a dark background... medium text on a dark background doesn't work. :\

    It's really just preference I think. I prefer light on dark myself. Too much white on a screen makes me feel like I'm looking at a light bulb. Most of the things that I can skin, I skin to white or light gray text on a black background.

    There've actually been studies that suggest that it's a bad idea. https://blog.tatham.oddie.com.au/2008/10/13/why-light-text-on-dark-background-is-a-bad-idea/ While you personally might not be bothered, a very large percentage of the population may be bothered to a degree compared to dark text on a light background.
