I'm pretty sure that'd be a good idea. Considering the fact that the finalists will be putting their all for these photos, you might get the chance to see some beauties. XD;
 
My habit of snapping photos on freeways in heavy traffic might finally pay off!

Haha, I almost posted a pic I took in New Orleans of a gentlemen's club with a stripper in the door. But we like our minds to be polluted...plus the quality was bad, not gonna lie.

I know, it looks so scary without water overflowing. :(

I feel sorry for those children.
 
I'm getting the feeling that this one's the dirtiest. But well, the quality of the pic isn't really good. Still, w/e:

About the picture : That pic was taken near a roadside 'fast food' stand. The people near that stand use newspapers for packing those 'snacks' and throw the things there itself. Plus, that place isn't really treated like a roadside place. People throw whatever they want and aren't really bothered. It's being treated more like a garbage bin, if it isn't already evident. Thus, just wanted to take a picture of that place. Notice how that man seems to throw his bag into the mess? Didn't really have much time before he noticed me. Thus, had to capture it really fast. As a result of that, the picture quality might be really off. Idk

What it portrays : This picture basically shows that we human beings aren't really bothered about our surroundings. Be it our local garden or a roadside stand, we consider everything as our 'own' dustbin.

Why this picture : I thought that going for something 'different' might be a good idea. Throwing plastic and other litter on the ground basically is land pollution. I didn't think anybody would show 'land pollution'. Thus, I went for it.​

Grabbed it during my train ride. It was nice scenery until it hit this area which was just a dump. Reminds me how bad some places can be under the surface. Land Pollution on this one.

I'd totally go Sound pollution or Light pollution, but I lost my light pollution picture and I can't do sound pollution XD [I did get a lot of cicadas back at summer school though]

Also, I think that's all the submissions now.

If we are going for what type of pollution, the I justify mine as human obsessive and addictive pollution.

Man kind finds its self addicted to substances that hurt us, hurt others and our environment. Yet we take it for granted and only think out ourself's while committing these selfish acts.
 
After some very hard decisions we've had to make, the finalists were decided. All of these pictures were stunning and we are delighted that everyone had taken and posted pictures. So thank you. Also, since the problem we've had with days and all, judges were glad that you could bare with us, so thank you again!

Hold on, the theme is Virtuoso?
the dictionary defines the words meaning as "someone who is dazzlingly skilled in any field."

You want us to do something alone the lines of this? Fooking hell, I hope you give us some time because that isn't exactly easy.

I wouldn't want the theme to be changed. We are the finalists, so it is suppose to be hard, I think we should just have some justification on what the judges thought on the word means. Because my idea could mean an amazing man made structure where as they might be thinking more along the lines of a single individual.

Just a little more clarification please.

Ahhhh fair enough. I like a challenge ><

It does feel like the themes are just made up, or each person has a theme to themselves. I am sorry to say, but last years was run a lot better :/

Anyway, this should be interesting, when is the deadline?
 
Pave you've got to discuss it with me and Charizard★ before you place up another theme. You even told us we were only going to have 2 Themes this year now we have to discuss everything again.

Sorry about this contestants, I will let you know the specific details as soon as I can
