Pokecommunity Horror Story

Let's write a scary story, shall we? You may have played a campfire game before where everyone helps tell a story by giving one word at a time. Well that doesn't work so good on a forum, so we're gonna have each new post be a sentence. The goal is to keep the story running until Halloween night. So if it looks like a line of the story is coming to a close, throw a twist in! Be as weird, kooky, or creepy as you want, within reason of course. There are some things that just don't belong on a Pokemon forum.

It was a dark and spooky night when Jennifer decided to log in to Pokecommunity.

 

[Ice1]

Thunder struck as she typed in her password, flashing light and casting shadows in her very, very, really dark room.

 

[Necrum]

Among those shadows was a familiar face, watching her closely.

 

[MurkMire]

But just as she was trying to remember who it was, the face had vanished as lightning flashed.

 

[Ice1]

"Must be my imagination." She tought, but she didn't know, that it wasn't.

 

[Necrum]

She was just about to click on her favorite forum, when suddenly, she heard a loud bang from downstairs!

Startled, Jennifer stood up from her chair and listened quietly for any more noise...

 

[Chimchar]

She looked out the window for no apparent reason but she saw a bat which scared her even more than she even was.

Jennifer knew she would have to check downstairs, but she had nothing to bring with her for defense, and so she cautiously creaked her bedroom door open, looking for any signs of trouble.

When Jennifer peeked through the door, she saw something also peek around the corner where the staircase started, before disappearing from sight.

Startled, Jennifer walked down the stairs, to find the fridge door wide open.

Inside the fridge, Jennifer saw a gateway to another world!

But as she entered this dark, mysterious world. Nothing except chills ran down her spine. But she took a step in, ready to face the worst...

At the other side of the portal was a dark and stormy world, with a sign that said "look up".

Above her head was a mangled corpse of a man who seemed very familiar...

 

[Necrum]

Well thanks for trying everyone, but we really didn't get as far as I'd hoped by Halloween. We can keep going though if anyone wants to.

It was her father, who had left home eight years ago....
