[Discussion] pokedex entries help

Wistio
Classification: Negativity Pokemon

These Pokemon are drawn to children with negative emotions. They will feed the child's negative emotions and make it spiral out of control. The energy released when this happens is very intoxicating and addicting to Wistio. If they have succeeded once, they will never stop trying to drag more children down emotionally.
However, if they fail to do so or are prevented from doing so, these Pokemon become very playful and will only want to play. They generate a lot of energy from playing, but tend to forget that their play partner does not. The children they play with are often found passed out from exhaustion.

Added a bit, but you can keep it the way it was if you want.
This just feels more complete to me =3

*i know i said no more bugs *even though, it's a normal types.... even though i said no more normal types*, i added dunsparce, but i added the bug typing onto it's normal typing :D & a lot of other japanese myth/folklore pokemon into my dex *

It's your region =p
Are you gonna add an evolution to it? Personally I've always wished Dunsparce would evolve into something ^.^

i have a new one *well... to be maybe changed, anyway* :> *in the above post*

Original
Aibyou - River Cat Pokemon - "In the places they roam in, this pokemon likes to sneak up on an unsuspecting target and knock them into the water.

They like playing like this, but will help the subject out if it can't swim."

Seems fine to me. The word 'subject' in the final sentence looks out of place to me (I.e. the wrong word), though.

I changed subject to victim, rephrased some here and there and replaced 'the places they roam in' with something more concrete and added a little extra to the final sentence.

New
Aibyou - River Cat Pokemon
Aibyou can be found near most bodies of water, though they prefer rivers. These Pokemon are quite mischievous: they like to sneak up on an unsuspecting target and knock it into the water. They like playing like this, but do not mean any harm. If the victim of their prank can't swim they will help it get back out of the water and then catch it a fish as an apology.

Verippo
Classification: Sluggish Pokemon

These Pokemon are quite sluggish both on land and in the water. If it gets bitten it will notice immediately, but it can take up to a minute for it's body to actually respond.
They can easily spend a full day underwater without having to surface for air.
These Pokemon will lie at the water's edge, with their mouth open and their bottom jaw submerged. They wait for fish and bug Pokemon to enter and then it closes it's mouth. To prevent it's prey from escaping it will simultaneously inhale very hard so that the prey has to struggle just to not get sucked in further. When they have closed their mouth they will swallow the prey whole.

Gishamus
Classification: Inactive Pokemon

These Pokemon are normally sluggish, but if they get worked up over something they'll start running to get their blood pumping. Once at top speed they can even keep up with Drakampi. Unfortunately, due to it's normally inactive life-style, it can only keep this pace up for a couple minutes. If they lose their motivation or use up all their energy they will revert to being sluggish.

Gishamus trained regularly by a Pokemon trainer are usually in better shape and more active than wild ones. This Pokemon will work very hard for someone they care about: they are quite affectionate towards their trainers.
Racing across the river on the back of a Gishamus is a popular sport among Pokemon trainers and has been made into a national sport in most regions.

Not entirely sure if the red bits are horns, but they kind look like horns... the evo doesn't really have horns though.... ears maybe? 🤔
Used both words in the entry, just pick whichever it is =p

Berbush
Classification: Heat Pokemon

They generate heat constantly and use their horns/ears to expel excess heat from their body. Their horns/ears are scorching hot and shouldn't be touched.
Worbur and Larvipede love absorbing the heat generated by Berbush's horns/ears.
These Pokemon are popular in towns in colder climates since holding one feels like holding a nice warm pillow.

question: are you any good at coming up with pokemon location names, at all, by any chance? :> - https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/469377

Can't say I've ever tried.

Do you already have an idea of what settings they are in, like say a desert town or a town on a cliff or one surrounded by a forest etc.
Could potentially try something based on the location they are in. For example:

-For a town in the mountains, potentially near a cliff: maybe Brightrock ?
-For a town in a swampy area: Wildemarsh ?
-A town at the shore surrounded by green fields: Greenshore ?

All the links in the post you linked are kind of information overload tbh xD

Might help to try and draw a simple map based on where you want what to be?
