[Discussion] pokedex entries help

''Wingling
Classification: Hatchling Pokemon

It lives in nests on steep cliffs. The parent Wingull will carry it on it's back until it can fly.
They will refuse to leave the nest without one of their parents present. ''

''Tanfetch'd
Classification: Brigand Pokemon

It is known to attack trainers and take their food. It distributes this food amongst hungry Pokemon. Tanfetch'd are solitary Pokemon however.
They can be bribed by trainers to not attack them with a big enough Leek. ''

The black around it's eyes made me think of Zoro's little eye mask lol
Turned it into a brigand @_@ xD

Fantassi
Classification: Infant Pokemon

They are very fond of most fruit, but they particularly love bananas, especially the ones that grow on Tropius.
Packs of Passimian will hunt down Tropius for their bananas so they can give them to their young.

Hatropi
Classification: Banana Pokemon

It can only just barely fly and only for a little bit. It's wings are not yet fully developed and can't handle it's weight yet.
It only ever eats bananas and will refuse any other food offered to it.

Seemar
Classification: Restless Pokemon

A very cheerful Pokemon that can't sit still. This is partially survival instinct as the noises it makes while moving scare off bird Pokemon.
It will constantly try to come up with new dances.

Tancal
Classification: Calf Pokemon

Female Tancal and male Tancal are polar opposites. The females are kind and caring, while the males are violent and easily angered.
The pack will usually be led by a strong Miltank to keep the rabble in line. Packs led by a Tauros are notoriously violent.

Pigeed
Classification: Greedy Pokemon

These Pokemon eat a lot and spend all day acquiring more food. They usually live alone as they are too greedy to share with others, especially those of it's own kind.
They will viciously defend the food they have. They often clash with Crabrawler over their food.

Boglutt
Classification: Ravenous Boar Pokemon

No matter how much this Pokemon eats it will always want more. It will go after any food it sees and will clash with the biggest of foes for the smallest amount of food.
Scientists have recently created a special type of berry, that when consumed by Boglutt, calms it's hunger for an hour.

Got stuck on Pigeed/Boglutt for a good while there lol
I'll continue with the rest either later today or tomorrow.

what would you call that new type of berry? :D

hmmm... idk how Pokemon comes up with the names for their berries so I think I'll just mash some words together again 😇

Hunger + Sate = Hunsat Berry ?
I've seen weirder names for official Pokemon berries rofl

Since I'm here anyway... two more Dex entries ^.^

Worbur
Classification: Worm Pokemon

It's warm to the touch. They live in small colonies of at most 20 to keep the temperature of their environment down, since their collective body heat will raise the temperature to uncomfortable or even unhealthy levels otherwise.
They use their body heat to dry their food before consuming it. Their favorite food is Chople berries.

Fernenti
Classification: Colony Guardian Pokemon

After evolving Fernenti will leave their colonies and live alone. Their significantly higher body temperature would negatively impact the Worbur in the colony otherwise.
They never move far from their original colony though, and will try to stick as close-by as they safely can in order to help protect their former home from predators.

looking forward to the other 6 ^.^

Don't you basically already have PokeDex entries for the Bug/Dragon line? Just looks like it needs to be tied together.
So... I scrapped a couple bits here and there, kept most, and tried to tie things together ^.^

Snawgle
Classification: Antlion Pokemon

It eats its weight in leaves every day. It has an extremely acute sense of smell and is capable of distinguishing its favorite kinds of leaves from those it dislikes just by sniffing them.
If you find its nest, you shouldn't stick your hand inside. It will assume you mean harm and you'll get bitten. It does not tolerate any intrusion into it's nest.
With it's well-developed neck muscles and iron-like head it can smash boulders to pieces.

Cocell
Classification: Armor Cocoon Pokemon

Its armored body makes all physical attacks bounce off. The armor however also makes it heavy and sluggish.
It rarely moves though, as it will usually bury itself under a pile of fallen leaves while munching on the humus underneath.
Within the shell, its cells have already begun changing. It quietly awaits the moment it has gathered the power necessary to evolve.

Lipreda
Classification: Sandstorm Pokemon

This Pokemon lives in swarms and is extremely territorial. If one is angered the entire swarm will become furious and attack.
Its best attack involves flying around at high speed and headbutting with it's well developed muscles. A headbutt from this Pokemon at full speed has the same impact as a Meteor crash.
This Pokemon creates sandstorms to obscure the location of it's nest and will only show itself to protect it's nest. No one should ever approach its nest. If you suddenly see it in a sandstorm, immediately head in the opposite direction if you value your life.

unsure how Aurabbi evolves, but I saw mention of it being unsure of itself and thought of a friendship evo
Dunno if you already have names for cities/villages in your region, but replace [Insert village name from your region here] with one =p
Preferably something remote with a forest nearby, maybe surrounded by mountains? ^.^
I'm basically picturing a village in a valley surrounded by mountains that's only accessible by a couple tunnels. Outside the tunnels is a forest. The Pokemon lives in the tunnel and forages in the forest =3

Aurabbi
Classification: Insecure Pokemon

In [Insert village name from your region here] these Pokemon are used to screen whoever enters. You have to go through a tunnel where these Pokemon live to enter the village and this Pokemon will not show itself to you if you have a bad Aura. You will be arrested or thrown out if you fail the test.
The Pokemon is insecure of itself and seeks to make friends with good-natured people. This Pokemon evolves only when it feels wanted by the person or Pokemon it cherishes the most.

Frierot
Classification: Protector Pokemon

These Pokemon have a strong sense of justice and will defend anyone with good Aura and punish those with a bad Aura. It's an expert at reading Aura and can even tell people and Pokemon apart who used to be good or bad, but have changed their life around.
It will do anything to protect the person or Pokemon it cherishes. As such if the Aura of the person it's bonded with changes Frierot will change how it treats others accordingly.
If the person or Pokemon they have bonded with perishes they will do nothing but mourn until they eventually revert back to an Aurabbi.

There's 1 more, but it's food time =p

i didn't have a name for the place before now... but i went looking for a name to use on a town names generator & i found one : Farnfoss , so.... Farnfoss village/Farnfoss valley :>

& yeah, i didn't really have a evo solution for aurabii... but friendship evo sounds good :>

"If the person or Pokemon they have bonded with perishes they will do nothing but mourn until they eventually revert back to an Aurabbi. "
I based this off of Slowbro's Dex entries btw "Being bitten by a Shellder shocked this Pokémon into standing on two legs. If the Shellder lets go, it seems Slowbro will turn back into a Slowpoke." Figured if Game Freak can do it, so can I :coolcat: xD
A bit more extreme of a case, but I think it fits ^.^
Just expanding on it I guess =p

Anyway the last one:

Aquthe
Classification: Current Pokemon

It expertly senses currents and can navigate them effortlessly. It has the strength to temporarily alter currents and uses this to it's advantage both when fighting and when searching for food. It mostly feeds on algae, but will not hesitate to go after a Corsola if it sees one.
These Pokemon can be found all over the world as long as the water is deep enough.

kyouan mantine

*it was scrapped from the gold/silver beta & renamed & made into the current johto mantine.... so i decided to name it ''kyouan mantine'' since they didn't use the design... i mean, i like current mantine, but i like this too :> *

So this Mantine evolves from a regional Remoraid instead of Mantyke? =o
(Not that Remoraid evolving into Octillery ever made sense to me rofl)
I take it there's no Kyouan Mantyke then?

Anyway:

Kyouan Remoraid
Classification: Schooling Pokemon

Unlike the Remoraid from Johto, the Remoraid found in Kyou do not use Mantine to avoid foes. They seek strength in numbers instead and form big schools.
They prey on flying Bug Pokemon such as Masquerain and Beautifly. They attack by shooting powerful blasts of water, which will knock their prey out of the sky. They avoid fast Bug Pokemon such as Ninjask as they can't hit them.

Kyouan Mantine
Classification: Elegant Flier Pokemon

They are better fliers than the Mantine from Johto and as such can actually be seen flying high above the waves. A school of Kyouan Mantine flying through the air at dawn is considered to be one of the most beautiful sights one can see.
They usually mind their own business and leave people and most Pokemon alone, but they have a longstanding feud with Golisopod, due to it going after their young, and they are often seen clashing with it.

do they prey on dustox, too? 🤔 even though, it's a bug/poison type, it still flies

I did consider listing it as well, but I remembered something from it's dex entries:
It violently flutters its wings to scatter toxic dust when attacked. It becomes active after sunset.

Imo Kyouan Remoraid would've tried attacking Dustox once and then deemed it too dangerous to the school due to the toxic dust.
Beedrill also flies and is poison type. It however needs to strike with it's poison needles to use poison and doesn't have the toxic dust Dustox has. So I feel Beedrill would be fair game for them.
Also in my mind they would not go after Vespiquen as it would be too strong to take down. They would however group up to defend themselves from it if a Vespiquen attacks them.

so, they'd avoid them, then :> *they're in the kyou region, since they're a part of the wurmple line that has beautifly*

good thing vespiquen aren't in the kyou region, then :> kyouan combee are strong enough to take care of the hive in a big group by themselves, anyway :>
