    I swear I thought I saw something about the possibility of multiple regions in Pokemon Emerald using decomps, but I can't find it. Anyone know anything about it?

    If you mean "a way to distinguish between regions" (because "regions" are just collections of maps), yes, there's an implementation with a tutorial in the Pokeemerald wiki.
