    Hey, don't blame me for not remembering when, I'm only fourteen. I think my love of Pokemon came when I watched it on the telly, but I can't remember.

    Anyways, I'm new here, and I'm giving ROM hacking a go. For the people who care enough to still be reading this, my favourite game is Emerald, my favourite Pokemon Tyranitar, and my favourite 'Team' is the Rocket gang. As you can tell by my spelling, I am British, but no aggressive replies would be appreciated.

    Welcome to PC Pokedude! I got into Pokemon when I was 8 and its still fun to play. What is your favorite gen?
    You're into rom hacking, great! We have a forum for this and I'm a beginning hacker myself. My favorite game is Leaf Green, Pokemon is Charizard.

    Hi pokedude, and welcome to the Pokemon community. Don't worry about aggressive replies, this is a warm forum and a lot of people here is very nice, my fav game maybe was crystal (a very old) by the varietys of pokes, and about my very favorite poke will be ALAKAZAM when i see him fight in the anime i believed was so cool that he beat their enemys without touching; but tyranitar its too a great pokemon, but by design i like more in their form of larvitar.

    Yeah Larvitar has a better design, but I love the brute force of Tyranitar. Crystal is your favourite? Interesting. I wasn't too keen on that one, my brother is a bigger fan of that era. Alazkazam is awesome, it just annoyed me that you have to trade to get him.

    I've never really shown an interest in those older Pokemon games for some reason, but I suppose one of these days 'll give it a go!
     
    Hiya there Pokedude and welcome!

    We have several members from Britain over here (including 3 s-mods!) so I'm sure you're not alone here. PC is famous for its ROM hackers and you seem to be eager to check all those hacks out which is why you may be interested in our Emulation section. It even has some fun tools, resources and guides you can use should you consider making your own hacks eventually.

    And since it appears you're a 3rd Generation fan as well you should also check out the Advance Generation Gaming section as well if you need a little break from the hacks. We have sections covering loads of different Pokemon aspects and a few off-topic stuff too.

    I hope you stick around and become an active member, read the rules and if you ever need help, feel free to ask any moderators and they'd be happy to help you. Have fun here!

    Hey! Sapphire was my first game, too! Or first that I can remember...
