So I don't remember correctly as to what the set 151/150 includes, I understand Mew was added for the 151 but not exactly what set 150 is.

Does it include: Base Set 1 + Fossil & Jungle (Minus Duplicates)?

(Tried a quick search and could not find anything useful)

    Thank you,

    Jon

How do you mean? You mean the fewest number of sets needed to get at least one card of each of the first 150 or 151 Pokemon? Or are you just looking for the sets that are limited to the first 151 Pokemon for their rosters of Pokemon?

When people online or even eBay advertise a 151/150 card deck are they a mix of any expansion (fossil, jungle, etc.) as long as it's all 151 Pokemon? Or is it a pre defined set of cards?

I might not be explaining this in the best way lol :/

Depends on the person listing it. If it actually has all 151 original Pokemon it has to be a mix of expansions because no single set has every Pokemon for a given generation. Generally, I use it as an indicator that the seller doesn't really have any idea what they have other than that they've got cards from the first 3 to 5 sets and that it's either going to be severely overvalued or severely undervalued. It's definitely not a predefined complete set of cards in the majority of cases.

There's indeed not a single set that includes all 151 pokemon. If you mean the earliest sets that include all original pokemon together, these are the base set, fossil set and jungle set. These sets together however do have some duplicates, for an instance there's a base set zapdos and a fossil set zapdos, a base set magneton and a fossil set magneton etc...

The Jungle and Fossil sets also have all their holographic cards in non-holographic versions, which have a different number than the holographic ones. So if you actually want the full sets you'll need both of them. This isn't the case with the base set.

Mew has always been a promo card during generation 1. More specifically promo cards number 8 and 9 of the black star Wizards of the Coast promo cards. They both have the same design, however one's holographic while the other one isn't.

It's worth noting that the holo Mew promo was actually a part of the Japanese Fossil Set and was removed in the worldwide release of the set, likely since it hadn't officially been revealed yet at the time of the set's release.

Alright yea that makes more sense, I guess they are just adding all the Pokemon together from those sets and leaving out any duplicates. I have a complete base, jungle, fossil, base 2 set, and a mew promo. I just wasn't entirely sure about the concept of what 151/150 included. Thanks for the help/clarification.
